I never thought he was perfect given the Amber Turd debacle. That and is pushing of what I see as a scam of electric vehicles. This number he posted just recently, is so unrealistic it is not even on the map. A quantum leap in battery technology could change that but then there is the electrical grid to support it.

That said the H1B visa tantrum he has gotten into has really opened some eyes. He is demigod on a mission. America is just a means to his ends……

If he is unaware, he is doubling and tripling down continually on this. He has not budged 1 inch on this issue. To everyone it appears that he is in favor of these abuses.

His blood feud tweet was just in the last 24 hours. This has been going on for a couple days now. Maga wants to revamp the visa system, particularly the H1B visa system. They don’t want to eliminate it and they’re not talking about the higher 01 visa .Yet he is dug in like a tick.

consistent with what i saw 15-20 yr ago. chinese are the same way. had a friend who was a prof in a univ statistics dept. she was the only white there and was always close to going to HR with discrimination complaints. never did,just left the univ for a private practice. saw somewhat the same in medicine. in the old days all the big guns were anglo brahmins or jews. the indians came in,took undesirable inner city positions and moved up over time. brought in many more indians. same with chinese and phillipinos (in nursing). chief reasons-cheaper labor,more easily controlled,US schools graduating useless wokes,like said by several above.

I skimmed that article but it “appears” to be continuing the myth that MAGA wants all work visas gone.

In reality MAGA is pointing out how absurdly this program is abused. They/we are pointing out that a plumber making 26kin California is not a essential “tier-1” worker.

People are pointing out that it is the 01 visa that brings in the top teir talent and to let that be or expand it. The HB1 is being used to replace mid-level American workers with indentured servants. THAT IS NOT MAGA, no matter what Elon and Vivek say.

Fuck, even Ross Perot lectured us that he couldn't staff his companies with the degenerates being poured out of Texas high schools back in the '80s and he was instrumental in the creation of "No Pass, No Play".

Still, it didn't work. Our education system has been purposefully broken for quite some time.

i think he came on a student visa, but hardly matters.
perhaps from his end, he doesn't want to offend a good deal of his workforce by not defending them and their jobs.
i think he doesn't realize how many americans that don't "code" have lost regular jobs to h-1b holders.

i can attest to the fact that some jobs are hard to fill with your typical white american.
i worked for a small white owned manufacturing company years ago (decades) and even back then, it was hard to find white workers.
it wasn't that they were not qualified or able to do the work, they simply didn't apply.

Exactly! I have nothing against Indians (Nepalese etc) but importing their caste system is a no go for me.

I have seen these guys in action on our soil. They are adept creating indentured servants through work and landlords schemes. In fact, I’m convinced it’s so ingrained in their culture, they don’t even realize that they are doing anything wrong.

In their mind, they’re helping these “lower” people and these people should be grateful to be their indentured servants. In India, Nepal, etc. this is business as usual, but here in the United States we call it sociopathy.

Make them require return to home country at the end (for at least a few months). Make them pay taxes. If we can't fill the fields with fruit pickers who have fucking Art History Degrees from Harvard... ok, I'll accept a temporary, legal, papered-up tax-paying Mexican who plays by the rules and goes home at the end of picking season. Immigration is good. IIllegal immigration and economic permanent migrants are poison!

Right? Our New England attitude growing up of Do it Yourself has been replaced with "Do it For Me."

Local teacher at the high school I graduated from literally told the 9th graders who had to decide on college track or the "Trade" track told the whole class in front of her that "Only stupid kids go to Tech." A fucking quote. From a worthless POS socialist social studies teacher with a Prius. Who could not change a tire at gunpoint.

She was the stupid one. Because she was too stupid to know that the person who fixes her plumbing and car and changes her lightbulbs makes 5x what she will ever make and is not a brainwashed twat.

I tried to get her fired... raised a huge stink with the school board and the principle and the state board that included the folks who run the tech/trade programs... other parents and was pretty much told I was wasting my time. She has a fucking union and 'tenure.' (Since when do high-school teachers get fucking tenure?)

Anyway...

These over-educated eco-fruits have infested everything and confuse degrees with wisdom and sklls! Vermont is full of these abominations and I hope they get their funding cut off next 4 years and fucking starve. I'll put them to work in my fields in exchange for gruel and the occasional potato.

A big part of me would love to move back to Maine as I have family there. The whole “blue” of this last election up there really scares me though. I just don’t know if I could enjoy living in such a restrictive environment.

I heard it said recently and this has been my experience to the letter:

“Easterners are kind but not nice. Westerners are nice but not kind”

The analogy given was that if you have a flat, the westerner with say “ Oh wow that is sad, I hope things will get better for you”.

The easterner will gladly change your tire while giving you a bunch of banter about the condition of your tires or the fact you never learned to change one. We don’t leave people on the side of the road.

One thing I have had to realize here is that westerners don’t really understand that “banter” for easterners this how we say we like you. If we don’t banter with you, you can take that as an insult….

Go to Lake Winnepsaukee on any given weekend and you will see work vans with boat trailers parked in the driveways of second homes.

These are not performing service calls they are enjoying their vacation homes.

I went trade school and got my electricians certificate.

I decided military and police was for me.

I chose wrong. My high school teachers were right. I was dumb.

Having spent enough time in India to loose 10% of my body weight on several occasions in both rural and urban environments, there is an answer: corruption, the caste system and an absolute lack of care for others. It’s not the education system, it’s the other factors that have caused the situation they live in today. I have seen in only a few other places the absolute lack of caring that I have seen there. It’s shocking what they think and do to each other. They view being in positions of power as success and it doesn’t matter the route to get there. This is a major contributor to their issues.
