The whole box at 100 yards

No, not really. I’ve talked to several shooters who are hardcore ammo testers and they feel that Center-X has really fallen off the last few years. Eley Match/Tennex seems to kept up the consistency.
Agreed, I think the new center X isn't nearly as good as it was back when it came out.
Anecdotal reports like these are dependable evidence that Center X is not as good as memory serves.

Not with rimfire, H.
I think the only way to achieve sub moa for 50 shots
will be from a custom rig off a high end rest with a superb box of 22lr.

Moe...stop calling me Shirley.

I still watch that movie..loved Bob Stack and the Hairy Krishna's.

This could be interesting.... I wonder how many of us would be willing to post their results,
no matter how embarrassing the spread at 100 yards.

Besides me, that is.
We already know I'm unafraid to push the envelope. :D

If we make this the new requirement as proof of accuracy,
that means the next time ya' see a 5 shot rimfire group posted,
with that claim of sub-moa all day long,
ye'r gonna have to ask: what happened to the other 45 shots?

Instigator? Who? Me? ;)
Honestly I like it.

I just did a tuner test and shot 390 rounds of a random lot of center x. SD was 9.1. ES was about 60. Not too bad IMO.
For sure. I have been shooting Center X since it’s release, there have been some phenomenal lots. Back when it was $10-$11 a box it couldn’t be beat but the last few years it hasn’t been as consistent from lot to lot.

With all of my testing I was seeing similar numbers for 10 round strings fairly consistent, when I bumped up to 20 rounds the SD would usually go into the low teens. I don’t remember the ES anymore unfortunately.
My Eley Match in the summertime.

Not exact a whole box at 100, but close.
Was needing to do some testing so thought why not give this ago.

Target was at 114m (125yards) and no attempt and wind calling was made, wind as very strong and gusty but shooting in a valley meantit was reasonably sheltered.
Top group is 50 rounds of CCI Std Velocity, bottom is 39 rounds of Norma Tac.

The Norma shoots amazing inside 50m and has a very low ES/SD but at distance the accuracy isn't great.
Eley Std or Club usually shoots much better.
