Because the amount of control you would need to have is more complex than you think.
You can’t just do a thing. You’ll be labeled a domestic terrorist. You’ll be taken away and thrown in a black hole somewhere, assuming you’re not killed doing whatever it is you want others to do.
You need organization. Order. Leadership. Clear and effective objectives to make progress towards a defensive and well resourced enemy, namely the government I presume.
Because you would need to commit to war. And to be able to war, you would also need to garner the support, resources, numbers of variably skilled individuals, and logistics to wage your war.
Allowed is not the word. Tolerated is more accurate. And what was the 2A written for? To wage war whenever you don’t agree with something? That’s what the opposing side with feel, say and think. Whoever you think is the enemy also thinks they’re the good guys.
This and more of this. You’d need leadership, organization, comms, mass amounts of resources that are hidden, lots and lots of people. You’d have to have plants in gov, well essentially you’d need to become like the other side and more to combat that at this point. And they’ve been working at this for a long long time. People are still too comfy at the moment but it’s starting to pivot, I think. Still it would take a massive event to get people to the point we are talking here.

To have "RV 2.0" as I like to call it, in these times, with this size in population, and with the sophistication in weaponry available to the "other side," it would be quite the Herculean effort for us... way much more than our forefathers ever imagined. I mean, "Washington crossing the Delaware?" Nope, not in that lifeboat. He'll need the biggest, baddest amphib assault vehicle, if not a freakin' battleship... escorted by F35s Do we have such gear at our disposal(as opposed to the enemy)? How about Paul Revere? That horse just ain't gonna cut it, today. Both sides can alert their citizenry by so many other ways.(SMS/Smartphones, etc.) And it would have to be "secure" (encrypted) for the other side not become aware. And I'm not even beginning to think about the battles themselves and the logistics involved and, even most fundamentally, the "wet team" work that would be required afterwards. Do you think the modern day society would be willing to sacrifice the shedding of all that "red liquid?" Way much more than in our forefather's time?
And here's the other thing. A lot of us who think an RV 2.0 might be the answer (and yes, I've pondered it occasionally), are much more on the "Senior" side of life than most others, I'd think. At least, I am, anyway. I have to wonder how much longer I'd have left on this Earth, and is it sufficient time after the end of RV 2.0 for me to enjoy the benefit of it (having survived/endured all the risk of it) to make it worthwhile? I don't know, honestly. I know the priority would be all of our "descendant" society that share our beliefs, etc and we should do it for them. And Hell, I have a niece and nephew that will inherit all this mess after I'm long gone. But that question would be on my mind and weigh heavily with me.
This RV 2.0 will have to be "politically" based, not physical conflict. I don't think society would accept another domestic physical conflict with all that "wet team" work. Hell, look at all the $hit they gave us with Viet Nam and that wasn't even our conflict! We're going to have to do this politically. We're all going to have to get up off our collective asses and (literally) "drain the swamp," and put our own people in place. We're going to have to ensure that we can (somehow) get control of the Military so that we do have that force and weaponry on our side if ever needed. We have to think like Pres. Trump and start having more babies.... More "conservative" babies. We need to start homeschooling them. And then we need them to become our new politicians so we can continue to drain the swamp. Is it possible? Feasible? Yes, it is. But everyone has to get up off their assess and "get busy!"

And that's my point. If we're going to be successful, we have to start having more babies than they do. And teaching the existing ones what it means to live in the society we want for them. In essence we have to "un-indoctrinate" and "re-indoctrinate" to our way of thinking. We're going to have to do that regardless of whether the RV is "physical" or "political." And the thing about the Taliban was that it was a far smaller scale than what a full RV 2.0 would be if we went that way. Could the Taliban handle all the Nukes, the bombs, all the things the US could bring to bear if we went "all in?"
Yep. Problem is, even tho most of us likely make good money, we aren’t making enough to feasibly support 14 kids on todays time. And you aren’t going to get help from the gov like the others do.

The government is dependent on cash and the POS politicians that are “bought” are being paid with your money…. By way of China and other places. The media is brainwashing you with your money… in cable and satellite fees so you have 500 channels of garbage.
Cut off the funding and you weaken the snake to the point of collapse.
Number one thing Americans can do is to stop buying from China. Next thing would be to buy things in on secondary market only. Barter. Do without. Use tools to fix things instead. Of buying new.
Stop spending on things you don’t need… with companies and countries dedicated to taking away your freedom and destroying American exceptionalism. That will drive complete collapse and reset without firing a shot.
Of course, it will also require austerity… not going to Disney by plane. Driving an older car with no heated seats. Not having the latest phone or flat screen. Not eating out. Shopping local or doing without.
And who is going to do that?
It’s going to take an invasion, a terrorist or military attack that makes 911 or pearl harbor look tame or, more likely, a natural disaster or earth-altering proportions to cause any reset. That would come out of the ashes. And be crafted by the strongest survivors of a Darwinian selection.

My only complaint right now is taxes. The wife and I are taxed to death in this county. 30% of what we make goes to federal and state taxes and thats only the begining. Sales tax 8.6%, gas tax? Why the fuck is there a gas tax if there is already a sales tax? Complete thievery. Property tax, abolish it. also complete thievery and the list goes on and on and on. We need to get to a 10% flat tax, and whatever the state tax is and a small sales tax and thats it. I dont mind paying my fair share for roads, schools, Police and fire, but all taxes together need to be less that 15% of my total income. Right now its got to be well over 50%. Then they have been wasting our tax money on stupid shit for 50 years. Criminals the whole lot of them. Sick and tired of being sick and tired.

I have co-op power, no municipal fresh water or waste water services. 16acs taxed is $437 yearly and I get the luxury to protest the appraisal value every 3yrs.
