I run a Bighorn SA TL3 6.5 PRC in an AI AX chassis. I have zero issues with ejection or any other function.

    A good 1500 yard caliber

I'm old skool and I love my 300 WM. In ten years the distances may be so far that it won't do the job anymore, but I'll be shooting it until the last day of that 10 years and probably more. I have a 6.5 PRC and it does the job nicely, but it doesn't have the style of the 300 WM.

    Shooting over water

Sir, that was an excellent synopsis. Varying terrain is best dealt with when one has the time to gain some familiarity. However, given a situation when that's not possible, one must be able to extrapolate previous experience in similar terrain. This is the basis for collecting dope data.

    Mark Chanlynn Barrels

If you've had the good fortune to use Mark's barrels, then you know you've got some of the very best equipment available. What's even better is to have your first rate barrel made by a first rate gentleman. And as a bonus, I didn't have to wait months for it. If you've spent the money to build...

    CDI Precision

Jeff and Pam have been doing great work very consistently for many years. Jeff has installed his dbm on three manners stocks for me and on one McMillan A5. He has done three Remingtons and one Savage for me. Great folks. Great customer service. And my rifles work great as well.

Training Courses Accuracy 1st civilian training?

Yes sir. I have trained with Accuracy1st. The training has been in Lampasas, Texas and in Clarendon, Texas(60miles south of Amarillo). But, I believe they will schedule training at your location if you have enough people. The training is first rate. The facilities were also nice. In Lampasas, I...

    Rifle Scopes Steiner owners - thinking about a Steiner T5Xi . . . .

I've had a T5xi 5-25-56 for 2 years now. I have thoroughly enjoyed having it every minute. I have not had any function problems. My turrets have a nice tactile feel. They don't move. They are repeatable. And when I dial correctly, I generally end up with a good result. I have shot this rifle and...

Action for a .300 WM build

I have the Stiller Tac 300 and the Big Horn TL3. They both function well. Both are 300 wm. One is a hunting rifle and the other a long range rifle. Both reside in Manners MCS stocks. You couldn't go with either of these.

Savage fcp-10 needs a new barrel

Both are good calibers without a lot of difference ballistically. However, the 6.5 Creedmore will provide more factory choices for ammo that is less expensive. I had the same situation several years ago and I spun on a new Bartlein 26" MTU and put it in a Manners MCS T4. It still shoots like...

    Aero Precision Complete Uppers

I have a complete .308 upper and a 6.5 Creedmoor complete upper. They have both performed stellarly. I have not had any negative experiences with the parts, completed rifles or the service at Aero. And when you catch some of the great sales they have regularly, you're really bound to get a good...
