    Gunsmith Recommendations?

They told me maybe the first of next year. When I asked them recently they pointed me towards Greg Young at Southern Precision (a.k.a. Bugholes).

    OAL drastic change.

IIRC I read on another forum that you could grab a small base sizing die for a cartridge that is larger in length but same diameter to fix the web without sizing the rest (Ex. 308 Small Base die for 6 Dasher).

    OAL drastic change.

Try seating a bullet them pull it and see if the piece of brass still chambers. My guess is carbon ring interference with case mouth (which will be larger when a bullet is seated) or you dun fucked something up during the seating of the bullet. What is your neck tension? That mark looks like it...

    Reticle Cant

I wear glasses and have used a plumb line to level my scope. It also looks canted to the left for me. I just kind of accepted it and use the level on my scope to make sure I am level.

    Bighorn Origin not feeding PRC

Yea, magazines are definitely finicky but as a reloader I like the option of being able to load to the max length of the magazine without the plates and even on the defiance with the small overhang, the tip of the bullet can get wedged between the top of the magazine and the bottom of the...

    Bighorn Origin not feeding PRC

Do you have a picture of the Origin in a Chassis from the vantage point of the mag well? My Rem 700 is notched but overhangs the mag well a bunch, my Deviant overhangs like half a millimeter. I was about to pull the trigger on a Origin build but I don't want issues with feeding from a magazine...

Looking for Vortex Razor 30x Mil/MRAD Ranging Eyepiece Reticle (RZR-30-RT-M)

It has been a long time since I used my spotting scope but I can check when I get home, IIRC there was no play in it.

Has anybody tried the new Berger 85.5 .224 Hybrids?

Can and should are very different things.

Has anybody tried the new Berger 85.5 .224 Hybrids?

Neat, might be a good option for 600 yard F TR if you don't want to put in the effort to get the 90 VLDs to shoot. Though, I wonder if you need an odd throat in-between the 80's and 90's for optimal seating depth.

Looking for Vortex Razor 30x Mil/MRAD Ranging Eyepiece Reticle (RZR-30-RT-M)

target height is 12.25" at 100 yards that is 3.4 mils so if we calibrate the rangebuddy app to be 6 inches from the center to the 6 mil mark, then we can measure the size of the target and it should be 3.4" in the app. We get 3.35" which is ~1.5% error. Which can be attributed to stacking...

Looking for Vortex Razor 30x Mil/MRAD Ranging Eyepiece Reticle (RZR-30-RT-M)

Burris 626200 works for me in the old 20-60 Razor HD spotting scope.

Rifle Scopes Lightweight PRS Scope Options

The plan was as light as possible while still maintaining PRS features (other then recoil reduction via heavy as fuck rifles) but I am going to be putting this project on hold indefinitely.

Difficult to close bolt and gets worse with more reloads.

Most reloaders on the hide are going to measure their brass with calipers and comparators. That is the only way to actually ensure that your rounds will work in a safe and reliable way. Blindly following the instructions that comes with the die is a good way to get yourself into trouble. Just...

    TriggerTech 2-Stage Trigger - I'm stoked!

I could totally be wrong here, but I believe: B&A offers different top sears that engage the cocking piece of the bolt, so you can get the correct one for the action you are using to prevent too much contact and too little contact. They also have an adjustment for sear engagement in the trigger...
