    The one component I can't seem to find anywhere are either the Tula or Fed 215m magnum primers. Does anyone know how well Winchester or Remington LR magnum primers would work? Or if you have a lead on the preferred primers I could use a tip... :)

    Well I guess I'm a pretty big deal...NOT. :) Should have made it more clear. With the changes I made to my build, my gun is no longer considered an Xtreme Hunter model and will not be marked as such. Downside is the longer build time...     It appears that these sights are set so low they will not cantilever over a rear BUIS. Is that correct? That would be a bummer.

    Only you can really answer that question. I was in a similar situation having only loaded for my 308s. I ordered my gun from GAP and figured the 4-6 month lead time would be enough time to find components and learn how to load this round. For the most part, it's spelled out in a few threads here...

    KInda depends on the brass. Measure your OD and then step it down .010 to .015 at a time until you get to .295
