I have so far killed 6 elk with a 6.5 creedmoor. One of those being a large bull. When it comes to any hunting getting the bullet in the motor room is more important than how much energy it has.
I am with you there its amazing how many people bitch about a product before they even get it together. I have a early number nucleus and after a few hundred rounds it smoothed up and is just as good as my bighorns. I have never seen a action that feeds .223 so smooth!
I just screwed on on this week haven't had the chance to shoot it on paper but it head spaced just fine and should be awesome if it shoots like my other proof barrel.

you would have to completely redesign the action. If you look at any 22lr bolt action the locking lugs are on the rear of the bolt. it would be nearly impossible to make it work in a standard short action.
