Rifle Scopes Ring Choices For New 6.5

I'd say for just starting off, you're doing a hell of a job! Have you actually got behind the rifle to see how comfortable it is with the scope at that height? You want it to feel natural and you shouldn't have to strain to look through the ocular lense. If it's too low, get slightly taller...

If you haven't already, also post this in the wanted to buy section. That should increase your chances.

Please give advice multiple questions 338 vs 416 rifle and ammo selection

There's a beautiful AI AW in 338 in the classifieds right now. It's the fixed stock and is reasonably priced. I know you have reservations about a folder, but you shouldn't. Anything AI builds will last for the long haul. I'd get one of them over a Barrett any day. As for where AI fits in...

    Rifle Scopes looking for a S&B 5-25 w/MSR reticle

I've purchased from Euro Optic before, they usually have an excellent selection of S&B scopes and have some great customer service and knowledgeable sales reps. I'd call them. Also, watch the classifieds here.

Recommend a good gunsmith in SoCal

I'm glad you got everything taken care of. Before you know it, you'll be commissioning him for another build.

What is needed to attach spigot to AICS

You can always run a Harris bipod and leave the IMUNS in place. I'm sorry I misunderstood your question originally. I don't know where you can get the female piece for the chassis, but it sounds like you may have a lead on one and I hope it pans out.

Rifle Scopes Rings vs integreal mount; pros and cons of each?

I have an 18 MOA AI mount on my AW and don't find that it sits too high. I think it will be fine on an AXMC but can't recall if the MCs will be coming with any MOA built into the rail.

What is needed to attach spigot to AICS

If you're removing the IMUNS, all you do with the spigot is plug it directly into the chassis. No tools required. You can sell the IMUNS to fund the bipod and spigot purchase.

What to do with a custom Wichita ISSU match rifle in 6.5x55?

I don't know anything about them, but it sure is beautiful.

Rear monopod for McMillan A5 stocks?

The rail came mounted by GAP with two small screws, nothin fancy. I wish I had some pics of it. Hell, I wish I still had that rifle! It was mounted towards the rear most portion of the stock on the flat bottom. It didn't get in the way and still allowed for use of a rear bag.

Rear monopod for McMillan A5 stocks?

I don't know about the adapter, but I had a rail mounted Accushot monopod on my A5 and it was very comfortable and easy to use. I prefer a bag but I also like having a monopod just in case. If you go with the rail mount, you'll be happy.

    AI MK III build questions

If you want to gain some MOA, you can buy a Spuhr mount or get an AI mount that will give you 18 MOA, which would be all you need in a 308. So that settles your mount/ring questions. As for the rear bag, get whatever you want. Triad tactical has a good selection. You can get it threaded at a...

ITrader, how do I use it?

I'm on my iPhone, no access to a computer. I'm on the mobile version of the site, not the tapatalk app. How do I post a positive iTrader rating for a user? I had an excellent transaction with user comfortechinc, and can't figure it out. Any help would be much appreciated.

    Caliber choices for Competitions...

You'll find a lot of practical/tactical type matches discussed here. Usually they're shot from various positions (prone, kneeling, barricade, etc) at known and unknown distances. Some allow a range finder, some require you to use your scope to range targets. They're quite different from F class...

The USPS man now has a bad back ----- Ammo

I agree with the great Cornholeo, I had a couple packages from both Big Dog and JC Steel arrive at my PO Box the same day. The gal at my post office was shooting freakin lasers at me with her eyes.

I'll have to agree with FlashGordon. That price can't be beat. I'd stock up on those.

Federal gold medal match 175 308 availability FGMM

Check Southwest Ammo for your 175s. They use the same projectile as the FGMM, shoot very well and are typically cheaper.

Barrel contours on Eurooptic and Mile High Shooting AI rifles in the 6.5/.260?

Don't quote me on this, but I believe the barrels are similar to an MTU contour, maybe a hair thinner. They're thick. Dave Tooley rebarrels for AINA, using Bartlein, and he knows a thing or 12 about barrels. They do indeed come in the calibers you named above. I don't think Euro Optic has...
