    I prefer Harris for field/hunting rifles because they're quick and get the job done. I prefer Atlas for my match rifles. I had a Magpul and gave it to a newer shooter. I didn't like it at all. It felt chintzy.

    I went to replace my GoreTex rain gear recently and was ready to pull the trigger on Sitka. I tried it on, decided to bite the $800 bullet, and looked at the tag. Made in China. Nope. I'll still be wearing issued GoreTex. First Lite does have baller first layer stuff.

    I don't like the ergonomics of AI chassis, and the only benefit I see to owning an AI, is the entire factory rifle. I wouldn't just buy the AI chassis to throw a 700 action in because of the many chassis I prefer on the market.

    I have never liked the ergonomics of AI chassis. Yeah, they work, but I wouldn't be throwing a Remington action in one just because they look cool. I prefer MPA for chassis.

    Yep, go shoot it first before you start hanging doo-dads near the ejection port. It won't hit you, I promise. I like to stick a fuzzy sided piece of velcro on all of kine to save the brass from dings for reloading.
