    If you read in the FAQs (I think that is where) Ruger firearms don't actually have a warranty at all, written or otherwise. They just have a commitment to help their customers no matter what. It is a pretty cool model actually, IMO. P.S.--Glad to hear everything worked out for you!

    So what if you got a 24" sendero/savage varmint contour barrel, so you had a nice mid-weight, then put it in an MPA hybrid chassis so you could add or subtract weight? With no weights it comes in at 2.9, and then you can add like another 5 pounds on top of that.

    This just isn't true in reality. Go down in recoil spring weight to get your slide speed up. Full size guns that are tuned correctly are perfectly reliable.
