    Re: Savage stock Questions you are looking at changing where the action screws are located. 4.4 is the center feed screw spacing and 4.25 is the stagger feed screw spacing. so it is not to big a deal providing you can get everything else lined up. there are many nice stocks for both actions...

    Re: Removing a stuck barrel? if you have access to a lathe chuck the receiver up and cut the damn thing off. i just had a mauser where the barrel would not come off at all thats what i needed to do.
