Rifle Scopes Geissele Super Precision scope mount work well on bolt action?

Ahh, you're right. I just looked it up and the Geissele that I have, the SR25 standard mount, is 1.54in, and the Badger ultra high rings are 1.4in. Well, it probably won't be a great option after all.

Rifle Scopes Geissele Super Precision scope mount work well on bolt action?

I have one of these laying around completely unopened. I switched plans on building a 308 AR and am looking into Bergara or Tikka bolt guns. How do you guys think this mount will do compared to badger, nightforce or other quality traditional mount?

    forster co ax press

The redding shellholders would be nice though if say you had 2 rifles of the same caliber and you wanted to use the same die to size both types of rounds, for instance a 308 bolt gun and a 308 semiauto, you could set the die and simply swap out shellholders!

    forster co ax press

Yes, this press is very solid. I have noticed around +/- 0.001 when measuring in Wilson shoulder-to-base gauges. The base of the press that the case sits on is perfectly flat machined steel, and the die is allowed to float but ultimately the lock-ring rests flush against more machined steel...

    forster co ax press

The co-ax is definitely rigid, moreso than any other press I've tried. If you want to use the redding shellholders with a co-ax press you certainly can, you just have to buy this little thing Forster Co-Ax Single Stage Press Shellholder Adapter Plate I have the co-ax as well as this adapter...

Landlord keeps forcing me to hide my stash

Oh dear moderators, I plead to thee, please put this thread out of it's misery! : ) I did my due diligence as a concerned citizen posting direct from the United States Federal Code and ATF bulletins. And now I am punished with notifications of this horrific train wreck of a thread. #unsubscribe

Landlord keeps forcing me to hide my stash

Our apartment people come in all the time, sometimes I've had a firearm or two out, and tons of brass drying from wet tumbling, and my bench and reloading supplies in the 2nd bedroom. My main concern I I didn't want them to steal anything! I am within the law as far as everything is...

Case annealing, to quench or not to quench that is the question?

Does someone have a temperature vs time curve to get brass properly annealed. And is it feasible to use an infrared thermometer to measure brass temp? Might be hard if it detects the flame.

Just got my first Thumler's Tumbler and SS media from STM

I have a method of pointing a vornado fan at the motor in a way that maximizes air flow across the motor. I used an IR thermometer to measure temps at a certain point on the tumbler motor and it reduced its steady state temp by over 10deg!

    Hornady LNL powder drop issue

Here's a fun tidbit For my lee perfect powder thrower I never learned the lesson of not storing powder even for overnight in them. Especially, in this case, it was Bullseye (double base - containing NG). For the hornady LNL measure, it reacts with the plastic tube, and since hornady coats the...

    Interesting caveat in foreign ammunition

That is an absolutely fascinating read! That is what I love about the people on this forum, a wealth of information. I don't even remember how I stumbled across that video, but that combined with a discussion on arfcom's reloading forum on "handgun kabooms" made me think of the connection...

    Interesting caveat in foreign ammunition

Dirty Tricks in Syria's Civil War - Spiked Ammo - YouTube I have never heard of this sort of thing before. I really doubt any of this stuff makes it for commercial sales of any kind, but it still makes me a little leery of cheap surplus foreign ammo. It seems to me that the offending...

Ya don't take that guy personally. He's forgetting that www.forum.snipershide.com IS part of the "net". It's like the arfcom'ers with 500 posts saying "use the search function" (which is beyond awful by the way!) Opinions on all things gun related from everyone (myself included) are so very...
