Transition is just that. If the bullet is designed correctly it can pass through it without issue. The ELD is one of those bullets. I have shot mine accurately to 1150 yards. 1000 is no problem.

I go to 1000 with a MV of 2910. Still supersonic enough for Shotmarker and SiverMountain targets to pickup
