The plan is suppressed hog hunting with a FAL in .358 win. Picked up some slightly hard cast (15 brinnell) 300 grain .359 bullets and am looking for an idea on a starting load. Would like to keep it around 1050 fps. Figure it should hit pretty hard and still penetrate well.
Would prefer to use the powders I have since it is hard getting any now.
Hodgdon - Titegroup, HP-38, HS-6, H-322
Winchester - 231, Autocomp, 296
IMR - 4350
Alliant - Reloader 7
Accurate - No. 5, No. 7, No. 9
Do not know the twisr rate but think it is 1:10 (~1 2/3 twists over 17") so should be able to stabilize the heavy bullets.
