The coroner has apparently ruled the death a homicide. Whether that sticks or not... firing probably removes their free union attorney representation and leaves them with public defenders or broke trying to hire an attorney.

There are all kinds of machinations going on right now. And it won’t go well for the officers Based on what is public, anyway.

Can the SA make homicide stick? I predict it will get pled down. But FBI and DoJ are on this and if they make it a civil rights case, they will not stop until they win.

Getting away with murder is a common occurrence it seems, but this is an election year and the politicians probably need to be seen to do "something" about the out of control police types killing citizens, so maybe at least some justice will be done. For the official record, any officer involved shooting death is listed as "Homicide" on the death certificate. Thats listed any time one human kills another.

Its just another way the media spins things if we are not informed and understanding the language.
