**6 Creedmoor**

3000fps is pretty easy to get with the 6 Creed and a 108. Factory ammo is around 3020fps in my 26” barrel. I actually went the other way and went to 2900fps with N160 and 110 ATips. lol

Agreed. I just saw zero need for overlap with my GT, especially when my GT barrel is a laser (I got really lucky with that one).

Plus, I had some really crappy ES and SD with H4350 until I got to 40.0+ gr, then it steadily narrowed down as the charge weight increased to 41.0.

As an added bonus now, I'll be looking at trying to stick some 108s into a few coyotes around here once I confirm this load at distance. The 130gr ELD-M is Thor's hammer on them in the 6.5x47.

N160 and N555 have performed very well for me in 6mm Creed. N160 doesn't burn as hot, so it would theoretically slow throat erosion at the cost of velocity, but in some cases I've seen the velocity difference be negligible. For example, I've been shooting 95 VLD TGTs in a 16" AR10 now for a couple of years and 45.3gr of N160 gives me full case fill % and 2900fps. Switching to N555 with the same bullet nets me actually less velocity in this case. But N555 with 109 LRHT or 110 A-Tips in a bolt gun is <chef's kiss>

Good to know on the 160.

I'm getting ready to start loading for 6 Creed. I have some loads put together with RS Grand... And I have a pound each of N160 and 560 gathering dust. Haven't seen any data for 560 in 6 Creed... But I haven't really looked either. I assumed even if I could use it, it would be rough on the barrel.

26" 7.5 twist barrel... and I don't really care about the velocity. I figure anything 2800+ with 103-112 gr pills will be good enough for my purposes.

N560 will work with that combo.

Thanks.

After I made that post last night I popped over to the VV site and looked it up.

Their data is for Lapua brass of course... I'm using Hornady for the time being. Not my first choice but it's always in stock locally. Not a big deal, should be easy to adjust. I'm not chasing velocity, just a good accurate load that won't torch the barrel quite as quick.

I might give it a go just to see how it works.

Just photos with data to provide more info to that 108gr ELD-M / H4350 load. My apologies, I didn't provide much data before.

Starting load, went a bit too conservative but the accuracy was there. Some stickers blew off after the fact in the wind. I also don't think my chronograph was giving velocity errors, I think I was just in a crap node. (5 shot groups only)

Velocity climbing up, but still not what I wanted in ES/SD. Accuracy still as good as I can shoot.

Then I got worried about pressure (zero need), and narrowed the weights. Here's where every group kicked one out. This trend continued until (4) kicked out, and by 41.0 the POI had shifted completely.

So finally back under half-minute, I decided I'd screw with seating depth just a touch.

^ At 2.250 I kicked two out, so there's the outer limit of my depth. The wind was pretty rough too.

Right now, I'm going to load back in the middle of the seating depth range and try a few more at distance to see if they hold up. If they do, I'm calling it done.

41.0 gave me 3,012 FPS.
