Ordered AI AT folder and it came in as promised, except was damaged in shipment. Rough handling apparently, combined with not great packaging. Emailed Eurooptic. Eric responded and four days later had a spankin' new pale brown AT folder (with extra packaging effort) and a call tag for the rifle I still had.

Alex's company has always given me best prices on AI & S&B of any company I could find, honest time estimates on delivery, and superlative service.

EuroOptics is always fantastic when it comes to service and prices. They're among my top recommended dealers. I have to ask, though, how did the rifle get damaged in shipping? The AI's are tough as nails, and half the time, my AE MKIII just gets tossed in the trunk without a case. I'm surprised to hear of shipping damage to your AT.

I'm curious myself. When my FFL received mine from Euro, I could not imagine how it could be damaged, unless maybe it was run over by a truck or something.

Must have been an aberration. The rifle was wrapped only in plastic bag.

The bolt assy was is separate plastic bag, as were stock spacers and manual.

All were set in rather oversize cutouts in pretty soft white foam.

No doubt the box had been roughly handled by Fed Ex ground.

The rifle had "pistoned" in the packaging and pushed past/through the foam and hit cardboard, and I suppose floor someplace and left marks on FH.

The bolt package had escaped its chamber in foam and had been sliding around on right grip and buttstock.

The bolt is sharp on the rear corners and left heavy gouges on grip and marks on buttstock.

The replacement rifle had cardboard/heavy brown paper wrapped around bagged rifle and bolt assy and spacers wrapped in heavy bubble wrap. Also outer of foam "casket" for rifle/parts had more wraps of tape in more places.

The outer box did not look so obviously roughly handled either.

I have broken in the rifle with an old bench rest scope I have. Love it so far. Hoping to have scope from Alex late this month.

You should of just kept the original rifle and saved yourself the time of "breaking it in".

I agree Euro Optic is a great company and this is just another example of why. Enjoy your rifle!

Holy crap dude that sucks, I'd be fucking madder than a wet hen. EuroOptic's is GTG and I'm glad they straightened this out.

I'm sure a damage claim w/FedEx has been filed. I'm surprised to hear they screwed it up. I've always had the best service from FedEx.

However, shit happens and they're human. As stated above, let's see some pics of that bad boy.

Forgive the terrible phone pic.

I was not particularly mad, and knew they would take care of issue. Disappointed, but was busy that week and could not shoot it if had the chance. I was surprised at how quick I received replacement. I used to ship a lot of items from my biz and I found FedEx ground service to be the most problematic of all. And, I probably have more issues with incoming items from them. Really depends on who your driver is - for local issues at least.

I have a Vortex Razor HD Gen II 4.5-27x56 EBR-2C Riflescope RZR-42706 on order from Euro. I am an optics snob and was settled on a S&B as is on my AWSM. But reviews on the Vortex are so good I am taking the chance, and will have a good comparison.
