AI chassis for Anschutz

Just a point of clarification, the 5119 is a two stage trigger. Not a single stage. It’s adjustment range is about 6 oz- 11/12ish
Thanks, have updated the information. Also, is the 5119 like other Anschutz triggers in that it can be both a single or two-stage if the user adjusts it to be. Lastly, the rep did not know if it could be used on Anschutz 1910's with the euro-style on bolt wing safety or just with the American style trigger safety. Do you know? My guess would be that outside of stock inletting clearance issues with whatever factory stock you have it would probably work you would just have two independent safetys on the rifle but I don't know this and neither did the rep.

The 5119 can be almost adjusted to a single stage. It’s not like the 5018/5020 that can be both. The 5119 can have almost all of the first stage taken out, but some take up is still there. It could work with the wing safety, the sear would need to be replaced as it’s a hair different between the trigger safety and wing safety models. If you were to just drop a 5119 in the wing safety gun, the inletting would be fine, the bolt wouldn’t close because the sear is a bit different.

@deadly0311 has there been any updates on the 10 round 1761 magazines?
Almost seems like Anschutz has lost interest in pushing the 1761

Quite the contrary on the 1761 and them pushing it. I actually had a zoom meeting with them yesterday. They are coming. The prototypes we have had some teething pains and they are making the changes. They got some springs in earlier in the week for a final test snd then they are going to production.

They have decided to do a 5,10, and 15 rd mag for the 1761. The 10 and 15 will have aluminum extensions instead of the polymer they currently use.

That's good to hear, just seems like all the recent developments have been more aimed at the 1700 series rifles.

Do you think they will start pushing the 1761 towards NRL/PRS type sports (with factory stock/chassis options) or is that unlikely to come directly out of Germany?

The 1700 series developments have been coming more from us at ANA because they keep threatening to phase out the 54 (won’t happen in reality). Germany has started to shift towards that market with the 1761. More stocks will come online but this is their start. I’ve got the XRS stocks here but not the APR barreled action. I’ve got MSR barreled actions I can put them in, the only difference being the muzzle. The APR is threaded and the MSR has the muzzle sight rail.

I really like what you guys have been doing with the 1700 series.
A Fortner AT-X is something I am very excited to see.
