I decided to perform a little test today with my AX.308 to see how the barrels would retain zero at 100 yards after a barrel change. I shot 5 round group, then took the barrel off completely and then put it back on and shot another 5 round string. I made little reference marks on my barrel nut to make sure that I had roughly the same tightness applied after each barrel removal. What I found was the first shot after the barrel removal was about 1/2-1 moa low but windage was perfect ( 0 shift). the 2nd -5th shot were right back into the same initial grouping. I observed this twice. Overall, I was very impressed and have seen worse shift out of my suppressor.

I did take pics, but Ill have to post later.

Just and FYI for those of you wondering.

Thanks for taking the time to do this. It's something I've wondered about since I've heard AI claims on this returning to zero. Great feature and amazing it works. Thanks for posting your experience with it.
