I did a search and only found a few posts where this can was referenced.

Any reviews? I can't find this can listed on B&T USA website; keep getting a 404 Error when I go to the link from a search engine.

I want to put a can on a 16" 308 and 26" 300 PRC. Looking for maximum sound suppression.

Length: 8.97"
Diameter: 1.53"
Weight: 15.9 oz
Material: Inconel

Thanks.

My understanding is the TB Magnus is the gold standard for sound reduction.

That suppressor is ~1/4" larger in diameter than this B&T. Length of both is ~9 inches.

Is the Magnus going to be considerably (noticeably?) quieter due to the increased volume of the can?

Or can baffle construction make a difference and the two cans of different volume be similar in suppression?

Appreciate the guidance. I'm very new to suppressors and don't have the ability to handle, let alone use/hear any locally.

If maximum suppression is your goal (which makes sense on a bolt gun), then check out these Silencer Summit Results.
Thank you.

Which measurement is more important to be comparing?

It seems that the B&T SD762-Rotex (which, when I search comes up with links to the Print-X Rotex 762 full size I referenced in the title) is comparable in most measurements to the Magnus and the Nomad LTi XC.

I think I was mistaken in my earlier assessment of the B&T SD762-Rotex being comparable.

If a 3dB change in measurement is doubling the noise level, and a 6dB change quadrupling the noise level, it seems the B&T is substantially louder than the Magnus.

The B&T is louder than the Magnus 30CB, Hydrogen-L and Nomad LTi XC.

Math makes my head hurt. If I'm misunderstanding the numbers - please let me know.

As a shooter, am I correct is assuming I am more interested in the shooter's ear (SE) sound level in this comparison?

Yes, shooters ear is a good measurement, more useful on gas guns than bolt guns. All else being equal, the more volume, the quieter the can.
