This is what I would buy if your that set on buying one .
Now with that said I think these guys are trying to get you to understand it's not going to be as usefull as some people think ,
First off , are you always clean shaven ? not much use if you needed to dawn it in the next five minutes and you have facial hair.
Second , if you do dawn it , what's your plan. it should be used just long enough to get the hell out of whatever situation your in.
If you plan to dawn it and shelter then your already fucked and your prolonging the innevidable.
And then there's the whole decontamination thing that was stated previously. nothing wrong with you being prepared, it's just gonna take a lot more than a mask !

Your 2 best scenarios for needing a mask are gonna be.......
A- cs/tear gas
B- a bowl of chili and a sackful of Krystal hamburgers. (AKA - gut grenades).

Does that one have an insert for prescription glasses? I ask becasue I had that one on my amazon list. So far that is the only one I saw that I put on my short list. Debating wether the ones from MSA are worth the extra bone.

Zap yourself with atropine
Continue mission for the next 2-8hrs till your dick falls off and you die from rapid onset liquid guts.

If we get to the point of a large scale CBRN attack on our soil, we are all toast anyway.

Best thing you can do is step away from the internet, close your twinstabook account, and enjoy the outdoors while you are still vertical.

Basically why I don't bother with the idea. Maybe I would want one in case the day comes where they do send someone door to door for your guns, and you have time to grab the mask before the tear gas gets shot through the window. Odds are though I'm dead from the second civil war anyways so fuck it.

CS gas is the only realistic scenario I could see happening. I'm a realist; not paranoid. However, good tools with more capabilities are always better. I plan to buy one for the whole family. I think my kids will think they are cool.

I heard they have integrated P3 filters?? Trying to verify.

I’d tend to agree. Exposure to CS is about all you’ll see and be able to survive. And for that, a surplus M40 would do you just fine.

Inserts, I’ve got a couple pair floating around the house somewhere. I wonder if one could have new lenses ground for them? I only had bilateral astigmatisms, and those came to head after I was anywhere I’d need to worry about it. I rarely bothered with the install while in service. Now I’ve joined the LSAIK cult, and couldn’t be happier.

CS can be miserable shit but I could use some now, sinuses are all blocked up.
