Rifle Scopes Eotech 558 vs XPS2-0

Having a hard time deciding between these two models and looking for some opinions and insight. I really like the compactness of the XPS2-0 and the fact that it takes the same batteries as my surefire equipment, however the advantage of price and availability of AA make the 558 model very attractive. What would be everyone's opinions and suggestions between these two models. Thank you

Aside from the battery type and size differences the 558 is NVD compatible if that matters to you. The S2 is not, you'd have to go with the S3 if that makes a difference.

Thank you. I made the mistake it should have said 518 not 558 as I'm looking at the non nv compatible models since i don't have a pvs14 yet

My vote goes to the XPS2-0. I like the compact models more as well. But that was because my other one was a 512 that took up more rail space. I'm not sure how much space the 518 takes.
But the XPS I think is more compact and even a little lighter too.
Being able to use AA batteries in the 518 is nice, but... it's only something you notice/enjoy when you have to change batteries XD
When shooting/storing, I always liked the smaller XPS sight, and it has the same sized window.

But these differences are pretty small. Just nitpicking. All of them are good.
