Update!!!Just started planning a trip in western Wyoming for the the Cutthroat Challenge that the Wyo Game and Fish have going on. Have to catch all four native varieties in their natural habitat/waters. Then send in pictures to F&G with a form indicating the date and location of each catch. My fishing buddy and I will leave early AM, Tuesday following Labor Day. Hope to catch and post pictures here. I'm taking my fly fishing gear and also a Pocket Fisherman, so I can piss off the purists. Using the Pocket Fisherman is like wearing a MAGA hat in AOC rally. Should be fun.
Ammo is cheaper for fishing!I fish more than I shoot these days, if it’s blowing under 10, I’ll b hiding in the grass.
Hahahah! One Zman would last me a month if it weren’t for the bluefish!Ammo is cheaper for fishing!

I remember when I first started fishing inshore and I caught a trout. I thought “shit, they have teeth. I need pliers”
They do make you feel good, we’re starting to see some trout in numbers this time of year on the NC coast!Trout make you feel like you know what you're doing.
Some days the catch is minimal to zero, so I stop by a couple of trout spots on the way in...
The trout are here year round.
The reds were on fire in July and August.
I suppose that's a benefit to our latitude.
A couple of double digits from Guntersville.
