Had my daughters out yesterday. They caught some bass as well as plenty of Bluegills and Crappies for dinner tonight. They love to fish and I can’t take them enough!

I hand forgotten about our Boca Grand tarpon trip on April 22nd. Hooked 9 fish all together, boated 6 of them. Lost two to the big packs of bull sharks.

My smallest of two that day.

This one that Jim caught had been grabbed by a monster bull shark. It had a 20" bite mark on it.

The split second he let go of it, the big shark came back and hammered it up against the bottom of the boat. It almost knocked me into the water.
The big shark hurt it again and two smaller (8') bulls ran it up between the stern and the engine and finished it off.
Scary as hell and fascinating to watch.

My new PR for a cutthroat (bottom 2 pics) .actually caught him twice in the same day and the best part is I caught him on my own fly I tied too! Also threw in a couple other fatties I caught in the last couple weeks.

Nice. We sold our Whaler and picked up a new aluminum boat. The ride sucks in comparison, but we're finally back on the water.

We did a little Rock fishing then finished off with some salmon. Kids absolutely had a blast. My middle son did his first start to finish salmon. Selected the lure, paid out the line and mooched until he caught one then fought it and reeled it in all by himself.

What NR did you get? I’ve been eying the Osprey for a deep V in the future. I think they are awesome, well built boats. Only downside is, yeah, like you mentioned earlier, they don’t ride like glass.

Pretty successful morning trout fishing with the wife and daughter. I get a bigger kick out of watching their excitement than I do catching em myself. Firing up the smoker just as soon as we get back home...

I went fishing with my son a week or so ago.

We were using worms because I wanted him to have action - quantity not quality.

He was so hoping to catch a largemouth but I didnt have high hope with all the sunnies swarming his bait.

Last fish of the day was about a 1 pound bass that as soon as he reeled it clear of the water and could identify it he shouted "Dad, its a bass!"

That was better than if I had reeled in my own 5-6 pounder.
