HAVANA (Reuters) - Russia on Thursday donated nearly 20,000 tonnes of wheat to political ally Cuba, a welcome gift to the Caribbean island nation beginning to feel the pain of soaring global prices for grains following the war in Ukraine.
Russian ambassador to Cuba Andrei Guskov said at a ceremony that his country´s government had agreed last year to send the grains to Cuba.
But the ship transporting the wheat, Guskov said, was stalled off the island for a month by Western sanctions imposed on Russia after its invasion of Ukraine. Banking-related restrictions had complicated Russia´s payments to the shipper, he said, making it impossible for the boat to offload and "convert the wheat to bread for Cubans."

What we really need to do is build about 10 million more homes and bring in another 50 million people into the area to accelerate the water usage...Thirsty?

Not sure if this is used to irrigate any farm land.
American's are drinking more recycled water than they can imagine.....Technology keeps getting better and better... Eventually a family home will be a "stand alone" unit and 100% of the water will be recycled. The only loss will be from evaporation... 30 years ago we were building sewage treatment plants that captured the methane to fire the boilers, sending solids to fields for fertilizer and watering golf courses with recycled water.Thirsty?

That is why Bill Gates wants to reduce the population of the world and Elon wants to put people on far away planets....What we really need to do is build about 10 million more homes and bring in another 50 million people into the area to accelerate the water usage...
That'll fix it for sure!
I can really help them with their plans....That is why Bill Gates wants to reduce the population of the world and Elon wants to put people on far away planets....
We need a bigger boat.I can really help them with their plans....
I'll begin writing a list of people to eliminate, errr, umm, reduce - and who I would like to send off planet.
Um, yeah. ^thisThirsty?

History repeating... all the way back to Biblical times... Spices like cinnamon, pepper, ginger and cumin were valuable. Storage facilities for grain and other food commodities have disappeared in modern times. Having well stocked 'stores" will become a priority for many countries.![]()
Indonesia bans palm oil exports as global food inflation spikes

It is true that next year has to potential to be truly an extremely bad year. I would not say we are in the clear for this year and not to worry. But the year next will be worse.I think it was the fertilizer shortage thread where a member said he’s not worried to much about this year availability, but that next year we’re fucked.
For the commercial growers, there is probably enough residual fertilizer left in the soil to produce a crop this year, at somewhat lower production per acre. When attempting to grasp all of the different challenges (fertilizer, fuel, transportation, etc) it is appearing the upcoming recession could be longer in duration than the recessions of the previous 50 years. All of those recessions basically had a "quick fix" by pumping more oil, Government bail out's of the Too Big To Fail Corporations, Bernanke's Helicopter money and other stimulus. This recession is worldwide, not specific just to the USA. Should this Administration attempt to bail out the rest of the civilized countries, the repercussions would be disastrous. It is true that next year has to potential to be truly an extremely bad year. I would not say we are in the clear for this year and not to worry. But the year next will be worse.
Well, at least we know they'll keep, literally, forever....Best stock up on those Twinkies......

Pretty sure that General Mills plant in Covington, Ga is still standing and operating. Local news said the plane missed the plant. Locals stated that the pilot was able to avoid colliding with the buildings. I saw the report and the building they showed damaged may have been on the property but was not the production plant. It’s less than 2 miles from I-20 and there wasn’t a huge fire visible when I passed that exit. The distribution center 12 miles away hasn’t missed a beat. I see those trucks running daily. I can drive by and take pics if needed. Tucker stretched a bit on that report. Lol![]()

With the cost of energy skyrocketing and record-breaking inflation, the Biden administration came out last month and warned the public about “food shortages” hitting the US.www.thegatewaypundit.com
I'll roll with your "aside" and bring it back to the food topic. Factor in the weapons you mentioned, apply guerrilla warfare focused on the food supply chain. Disrupt fresh produce for a few days at port of entry and it gets delivered to the landfills.Just an aside, I was watching a documentary on fentanyl production and opioid crisis brought on by open borders, and the human smuggling and trafficking, and how the cartels were making hundreds of millions of dollars a month. Then I saw a news program in which it was openlydisclosed that US military weapons were found among Russian forces in Donesk. (We knew there were Ukranians selling US weapons to Russians, because we read Portajohn). We know, with NO accountability of where weapons we sent to Ukraine end up, just as the weapons that were provided to Afghanistan can end up anywhere, and the weapons in Libya, etc. that US-purchased weapons go through black markets and can end up anywhere for the right price.
So we have heard how the cartels acquire mercenary-type forces with superior firepower overwhelming local Mexican police and border patrol, right? They now have huge amounts of cash flow to buy even more sophisticating "toys", and our government is accommodating them not only by providing the lucrative open border, but altering supply by releasing oodles of our latest and greatest weapons to the black market purely by poor management and policy.
My point here with this thread - I was thinking about how "ugly" things can get in a true severe food shortage situation. We have a president/administration trying to remove any reasonable "crisis/SHTF" weapons out of the hands of American citizens. With no physical border and no intent to control it, those cartels will have the ability not only to cross the border but will have their members potentially armed to the teeth with our military's best, even the best-planned "groups/communities" with modest munitions (except for some hiders of course) can be laid to waste for their provisions.
Pessimistic doom-gloomingfiction or possible scenario?
Money…..that’s adorable….. if it comes down too it, money won’t be worth shit.He who has the “money” will have the food/water.
“Money” comes in many different forms. I would not underestimate it.Money…..that’s adorable….. if it comes down too it, money won’t be worth shit.
Nope. Back in 2014 I met a few kids at Adventure Camp who trapped regularlyIs trapping a lost art?
The Great Reset will not go as the globalists envisioned. Instead we'll have a Great Awakening and then freedom (after some pitchforks and torches are applied). There will be some difficult years, but that's part of the birthing process of a new paradigm.I don’t think any of this is an accident, and I don’t believe in coincidences.
We need to understand the true “plan” of “The Great Reset”.
