Suppressors Form 4 wait time

Form 4 Individual
TBAC 338 ULTRA
Submitted 8/16/18
Check cashed 8/28/18
Stamp received 7/11/19
TOTAL DAYS SINCE CHECK CASHED: 317

On my 10th wedding anniversary nonetheless! What a great gift NFA branch!! Thanks for waiting so long to process everything so you could make this such a momentus occasion!
Ouch, it hurts; same suppressor, same submission date, and your check cashed date is one day after mine. Just called and mine is still pending.

Seeing checks cashed in September last year and approvals coming through now has me excited! The check for my multi-cal can was cashed Sept. 26th, 2018, and I've been doing my best to forget about it, not expecting to see anything happen for at least another month.
I guess I'll have to call sometime next week for a status update.

I'm betting they are still contending with the backlog from the shutdown.

There's also the fact that some Federal employees have to take their use-or-lose leave time. When school was out for the year that's also the time when a lot of families start taking vacation.

Those could be a couple of factors with the increased wait times.

The NFA Tracker bar graph is worthless as it is a 12 MONTH Rolling Average.
If you click on the "Transfer Tracking" tab in the upper left corner of the page you can see recent approval times as well as where times are trending.

Right now wait times are trending up quickly for trusts and are at 11-12 months. Times are better for individuals and seem to be trending down:

I'm still going to call later today.
I'm officially @ 300 days since check cashed on a paper filed form 4 individual.
Just got off the phone with a very nice woman that said the status of my submitted form was still pending. She also said that they are seeing them clear right around ten months, and that they are seeing some come back now with dates near mine, so it shouldn't be much longer.

Just for grins I called today on my pending Form 4’s from last September/October. Nice gentleman on the phone told me I was still pending, but that they are typically approving forms now from July/August 2018, so I should be close in another month or so.

My local shop had same feedback, they’re getting stamps from July/August 2018.

Guess I will just wait longer.
I’ve got some eFile Form 1s out there too, maybe they’ll get done about the same time a month or so from now and I won’t know what to do with myself.

My individual Form 4 was received October 23rd and approved July 22

Form 4 trust.
1 day shy of 1 year.
2 suppressors submitted same time, picked up one stamp today - forgot a signature on the other.
Hopefully its a short delay on the second.

I called 2 days ago on mine.

Check Cashed: 10/20/18
Pending Date: 10/23/18

I asked if it had at least been assigned to an examiner and was told that it still had not. In essence, application has been sitting in a box for 9 months with no progress at all! You’ve got to love bureaucracy if you think that is ok!

Hopefully a “miracle” occurs soon!

2 Cans bought at the same time last summer (SiCO deal).

Form 4 Trust
checks cashed 1 day apart from each other. 7/27/2018 and 7/28/2018
received both stamps today. Damn near exactly 1 year to the day after checks cashed.
