I came very close to doing that with a SAW one day. Steep slope down towards the target berm, so I slide feet first instead of prone. Only once, NCOs didn’t notice, no foul.
I honestly think he totally missed the steel on that boot..I’ve seen 2 people do the same thing under different circumstances and it DID NOT go through..both were wearing danners…of course, I am glad this guy tried it though lol
