I recently purchased a pair of Vortex Fury5000s and WOW…
The glass is everything i could want for practical use, I’m really surprised at the clarity and coatings. I was excited to test the beam divergence as i had heard big claims. Walking out my front door I found some difficult targets, cows behind a 400yd ridge and in front of a 1400yd ridge with only half their body showing. I wondered if i would even be able to get a range, i was amazed to find i could pick out cows and get them first try. Never hitting 4** or 14** i ranged each of the small herd from 1065-1077. Looking for a long range test I then went to the farthest rocky knoll and immediately received 2534 yards.
Im really happy with the modes and setting, offering a angle compensation mode or line of sight with a degree of incline readout.
Price, size, sturdy unit, great accessories including a nice chest pack and backed up with the best warranty available on a LRF bino. Vortex nailed it here guys
