I think the computer my wife allows me to use to comment on this site and peruse porn runs Windows 8 or earlier.

If I were to buy one of these could I even run it?

Will I have to take the kids Iphones from them to "check Daddy's guns"?
Im running Win 7 --i used the VLC free software.. go back in this thread and see the post re: software.

Do they sell that one on Amazon also? I didn't see it.
Yes...it is sold on Amazon. This product is brand new, and Teslong sold had what they thought was a working bore scope they assumed would fit in a rifle barrel. They were wrong, not understanding shooter's needs. Not their fault, really. They are not allowed to own a gun in Hong Kong. I just emailed the Teslong product manager to make sure that he changes the name of the two other Teslong "bore scopes". You are safe if you see the product page with actual rifles in the pics. It is actually my own rifle. I helped Teslong develop this proper bore scope. I felt it was past time to get a quality bore scope into the hands of the average shooter...without having to pay the price of a Remington 700 rifle. :)

I can't personally tell you the answer about Windows 8, because I have never used it. But I know Teslong's instruction manual gives details on running the bore scope with older Windows systems..."8" included. There were a couple of more steps than with Windows 10, which is amazingly easy. I wouldn't be afraid of using it on an "8".

Wow, pics look great for $50. Thanks for posting!
I cannot speak directly of your Samsung model, but simply downloading the Teslong camera endoscope app, or even simpler the "USB CAMERA". YEN SHAO is the version you want. There are other poor ones with the same name The YEN SHAO version has an orange and black icon with the USB symbol on it. This discovery was thanks to my friend MARC, who is responsible for this active post.

As soon as someone says they do I need a link and I am ready to order (I use a Xr)
On another note would this work on a Kindle Fire tablet ??
I think the answer is that Teslong can provide the HARD WIRE adapter for iPhone on the cheap. Seems that there may be issues with the future WiFi iPad though. Problems more on the Apple side of things than on App developers I think, but I am not sure.

Thanks, Diver, for this important pic. Be aware, guys, that step#2 in the shipped Windows 10 PC may not be necessary in American/European versions. For me, it is even simpler. Hit the Windows icon in lower left....in the next window, just hit "Camera" in the alphabetized left hand vertical column. If your computer is like mine, you will now see a live picture of yourself. Just hit the camera icon (with a circular arrow around it) in either the upper left or upper right corner......AND YOU ARE IN!! lol...pretty simple on a PC to get up and running. Post if you have any problems in Windows 10, but MS has done a pretty good job of it so far for me.

Just played with mine. Easy set up on windows 7. Brightness even on the lowest setting still gives a little bit of glare but still usable. My bolt gun is at the smith, but this is the muzzle end through my suppressor of my .300blk

Pretty impressed for $50. I’ll keep it

These pics are snapped off my comp screen with my phone
