HELP: Kestrel broke, any APP's for weather? STATION PRESSURE?

leaving for a 4 day trip to shoot long today, and checked the batteries in my Kestrel. they were dead so replaced batteries, still dead. Mr Murphy is alive and well. I'm leaving this afternoon, so wondering if anyone can recommend an APP that does station pressure? I know, I need a backup, but I only have a few hours before I leave. (lesson learned, one is none)

Not an app, I have used Weather Forecast & Reports - Long Range & Local | Wunderground | Weather Underground for local conditions. They list a lot of small personal weather stations and you may be able to get data from one close to your location.

Here is my location: Angels Camp, California (95222) Conditions & Forecast | Weather Underground - click on "Change Station" for a map of surrounding weather stations.

And the Kestrel folks are treating me right. Within 30 minutes they responded and gave me an RMA.

why dont you just use weather channel app and use the data to input into a density alt calculator app like denalt?

I just found a free app called AutoDens. You can enter the number in manually, or better yet, you can hit a button called "get meteo" and it used the phones GPS to pull the info in the the app and complete the calculations. And the app is free.

depends on your phone.. iphone, no... droid.. maybe.. depends on the phone specs, mine "nexus 4" has it built in.. i can access the sensor via this app

Your gizmo is broken so you can't shoot. Maybe an ap for your other gizmo will solve the problem. Maybe you need something that doesn't rely on gizmos.
