How did you meet your s/o??

No, seriously. As a contracting Mental Health Counselor she has over four years in country between Iraq and Afghanistan, and has additional time at the DMZ in Korea along with rotations in Japan, and Germany. She was also an Army Nuclear Weapons Specialist in the 80s & 90s until they turned over the remainder of the nuke arsenal to the Air Force and did away with the mobile launchers.

So yes, my wife wore combat boots and is damn proud of it. Just makes shit talking time fun during the Army-Navy game each year.

Never, ever, EVER bring a stripper home. They never leave, and you end up just giving them the house and paying them north of a quarter mil hush money to shut their goddamn whore mouths. That was wife #1. Trust me, you can't save them. Just get a litter of puppies and a Tinder account if you want destruction in your home and sluts with fake names to suck your dick and take it in the back door.

But they smell so good .......

I pulled her over for speeding in her black BMW M3. I was going to cite her but she talked me out of it. The next day she showed up at work and asked me to take her on a ride along. I didn't want to take her but my boss made me. We stopped at some scenic overlooks and the rest is history. That was 17 years ago.

College. She was a student clerk in the front office of a small JC in the country, cuter than hell. I was a Vet just starting at registration.
She handed me my paperwork, and our fingertips touched. Wow.
I didn't know, that the Vets Officer had already told her that I had the first appointment of the day, and to watch for me.
I didn't follow up on that first moment though I was quite impressed. However at the start of the next semester, she was working in the Nurse's Office, where I was a student worker. We started dating.
Married 46 years. Long enough that not only have I forgotten our anniversary, She has missed it a time or two as well.
Wonderful woman, shooter, chef-level cook, sweet personality, good mother to our kids,

A warrior's wife if ever there was one. I'm the luckiest guy in the world.

I met my fiancé my sophomore year of high school, she was a freshman. She became really good friends with my sister after that and we would all hang out occasionally but I never dated her as I was busy chasing other tail. We went to separate colleges across the country but still talked as we were really good friends and she always had a crush on me.

Fast forward a year or so and i had already dropped out of college and she had come out to see me in Colorado on her own dime (from Maine) and it struck me that she was probably the one for me. My grandfather had passed away after she came out to visit me so flew home to NC to be with my family and my sister was telling me that my now fiancé liked another guy and yada yada yada. I said bet and called here that evening and asked if she would like to be my girlfriend.

We’ve been together 4 years and engaged a year (we’re 24). It’s been a ride and continues to be but I couldn’t imagine having anyone else yell at me for spending all my money on guns. Wedding will probably be in a year or two in NH or MA since her family lives out there.
