I sold my Coke Wagon and bought an eff won fiddy

Is that supposed to be some sort of weird flex on my Ranger? I never said it was the best pulling truck ever made. Someone asked a question and I answered. I don't need a diesel, nor would I ever care to own one. I work on them every fucking day and the current emissions systems on them is a huge problem. Plus maintenance is about 3 times what it costs on my truck.

Shoot man, I'm sorry, it wasn't supposed to be a weird flex, it was just supposed to be a regular, normal flex. :D

Who said anything about diesel? The International is gas and the truck could be a gasser too, you don't know.

I regret selling it already, but I really wanted a truck. The expedition rode much better but lacked BOOST and a pick up bed. Anything I can do to make it ride better? I wanted to do a 2” level kit but I’m afraid it will ride even worse.

the ol’ Coke Wagon

what have you ferd guys done with them?
You need you a [redneck accent] "too-seven-tee weein, wid a tree-tun-nan by foh-tee" up in the back.

I'm not a Ford guy, but that's a solid truck. Good buy.

I'd leave the front as-is and put some weight in the back. Wet pavement traction sucks in F150, with 5L anyway. Maybe your iddybiddy motor will do fine... :-D
Actually I keep about 200-300 pounds of bullshit in my truck bed because it makes the ride so much smoother with the rear suspension loaded just a tad.

Everyone needs at least one truck. Up until recently I had a 150, 250, and 350. Sold the 250 as it was turning into more of a driveway decoration as I did not drive it much and I had it for 20 years. I go into new trucks knowing I need to replace a few things. Here is my latest I bought in October 2019. 2019 F-350 King Ranch Ultimate.

I added a front deflector, Fox shocks, Kelderman dual steering stabilizer, better track bar, better drag link, Banks rear diff cover, Bank iDash, ceramic tint on all glass, gatorback mud flaps, Diamondback bed cover, a few other odds and ends and a B&W hitch. Working on the portable winch/cradle now to go with some other stuff I carry like bubba rope and soft shackles.

On your truck, upgrading the shocks will help but as a 150, it should ride pretty good now as it is. You can level it if you want a different stance but your ride quality starts to go downhill once you go over 4” of suspension lift unless you dump a lot of money in it. Also, get into FORScan so you can make some changes to stuff on the truck.

Depends on your budget.

Go find a guy selling some Raptor shocks for the rear, replace the shocks obviously in the rear, no mods needed. Then order up Deaver springs.

Front, spend the money to fit some factory take off raptor shocks for the front. Lots of info on the other forums how to do it. Sell it and buy a Raptor...

Or go all out and call SVC and have them build it out for you. Drop a bigger motor in it too. 3.5 eco is fine, but put some 37's on there like a man you will want to peel out to show off to the ladies

I drove a Raptor but 60k for a used truck? Gtfohwts lol. I would LOVE a raptor but I’m not spending 20k more for suspension when I could spend 10k on mine and have the same or better.

True. But you get beefed up parts that the normal F150 doesn't get. If I did it all over.... diesel truck to tow my Can Am or I'd sell the Can Am and get Robby Gordon's new UTV!!!!

If only the 5.0 had more torque than the 3.5 turbo...........oh wait

Shit, a ranger can tow a sxs.

Why does everyone need a 1 ton to tow 1k? Fucking rediculous.
Because 1 CanAm max, 1 Polaris RZR robby Gordon, 1 170 rzr, 1 Honda 450 quad, 1 Suzuki 400 quad, gas and helmets... oh the trailer is big very big. With the suspension I have on my Raptor plus my little motor.. I can only tow half of what I bring.. so borrow my dad's truck. 👍😉 it's a chevy

My 2014 f150 4x4 gets 18 mpg on the highway un loaded at best.

That drops to 14-15 towing trailer with jeep. But that's at 70 mph.

A bed level full of wood or corn does sag the bed a couple of inches, but has not bottomed out.

I take it easy if offroad when that much is in there.

Is what it is.

Nice pickup @Bender, kinda what I'm looking at getting as well. My old hunk of shit 96 F250 with a BBF is tired and being as its EFI, its not worth building again due to the speed density system. Along with its 10mpg 😂
