I shared my plan on another site and was promptly banned for being mean.
Having a good community of people full of Faith that know how to prepare, know how to work together and know how to pull together in hard times and take care of each other. Folks you know you can call on when you need help with something. Folks that you know and have seen do things because they care about others and want to serve and help others. The kind of folks you feel confident giving the keys to your house to.
If you're not mean hear you're not going to fit in. If your plan is to kill one of us to take our stuff that's not mean that's just dumb. We know an entire line of people are coming to take our stuff. We have a plan to keep our stuff.
This,... but also where the combo to the safe/s and other stores can be located, in sealed envelopes all your Friends* have.

A person you know who will bring their own shovel any time, w/o asking questions,...
If it had anything to do with the treason that has taken place in this country for the last 60-70 years that is not being mean, that is just being open & forth coming.
We (locals) are consistently trying to improve on our stores and the Golden Triangle with new & innovative ways/tools. As many of us do not take what is happened from 1/20/25 to date, at face value.
Knowing how to and actually growing your own food....gardening, canning, hunting/prepping meat, having chickens....etc
Having all tools zeroed and ready to rock, about to really get down with reloading a bunch of ammo
Staying in contact with friends you trust with your life who live in other states to stay up to date on current events
Having a couple plans ready that cover holding in place or bouncing if needed
Firewood and back up water reserves
Podcasts.....try as best you can to focus on legit people.......people you've watched for years and can tell they are genuine/pass the sniff tests
being ready for stuff in the night
Overall......not getting ready but STAYING ready....just giving that knife a daily grind to remain razor sharp......part of this for me is jiu jitsu.....many MANY benefits to that
I'm sure there's more....just brief overview
Looking into a back sat Com option such as Garmin or star link....haven't decided yet

I know how to garden, shoot, cook, build. That's great, but the harder times are the more time you have to learn this kind of thing.
Owning land is something to get done as a foundation.
As far as learning? The most important thing is to learn how to manage personal and familial relationships. That sort of thing makes all the difference in tough times.
