Hey Paul, instead of continuing to make and assemble parts, it sounds like everyone would prefer you get in here and put your customer service hat on. “You owe them” because they looked at your product.

Anyone hear any updates?

I've sent a couple emails and would even call if I had a number. No reply. I know it's the weekend, but still...

Just waiting to get a reply. I know we all want one. I couldn't go shoot today because I lack data coverage in the mountains and can't miss that email. I want my reply first.

Anyone?

Yes, I think it is a good business practice to give your customers or potential customers updates regarding a product that you are trying to get released to market and that these customers have expressed enough interest in to sign up for a pre-order (no money down or not). Is Paul required to do so....absolutely NOT. However, this thread is indicative of the ill-will and erosion of the customer base that may follow due to non-communication.

Have you ever bought anything in your life? Have you ever had a question about a product before you bought it? Do you buy everything blindly with no information on how it works, how it performs, when you can expect to get it, etc?

On a product that's not even released yet? This thread has turned into the pit. Calm down. Jesus.

I signed up for the pre-order and haven't thought about it a single second since. I paid nothing, I'm owed nothing until i get my ready to ship email and pay.

Period

But now you have my attention...

Folks, please stop feeding the troll . He is having a hard time right now, he has been booted from yet another forum and we are being blessed with his anger .

Are you guys getting any unsolicited progress emails? I placed my pre-order on 12/21 and I haven't heard a peep.

And, if anyone needs a scale, someone on eBay is selling open-box A&D fx-300iN scales for $380 plus shipping. I offered $325 and it was accepted, so there's that. I have no association with them, just throwing it out there.

Well, screw me. How are you finding them?
Our local paper sometimes lists places that are closing. We have tons of cannabis stores and not enough demand, so a lot of them close within the year. Plenty of them have Fx scales. I know a few local shooters that bought 10-20s of them and are flipping them on ebay or local forums.

Edit: as you can see, there are different versions of the fx300. These are NTEP scales but I programmed them to be "regular" scales. Don't mind all my stickers...

NTEP just means certified for accuracy. What do you mean you reprogrammed them to not be NTEP?

Correct. They're bought from places that have to have NTEP for business purposes. There is a process to remove the programming in order for these scales to work with the IP system. NTEP mode is LOCKED on these scales to prevent the business from changing the settings.

NTEP mode does NOT allow FAST weighing, use of GRAINs for weighing, among other things... If these are left alone, they don't work with the AT, ST, IP tricklers.

Just got an email back from Paul. I’ve been OCONUS for the last 5-6 weeks and wrote asking if I missed the shipment notification. His ENTIRE reply is below.

“Nope, gonna be after the first of the year sometime.”

At least there’s not a month attached to this estimate so he’s spot on even if they ship December 31, 2025.

Nice, that is a good snag. I still remember buying my first scale they where only like $350 shipped back then.

I didn't go back through the thread to look. Were you an early (pre-March '24), or late order?

Brother, we are all late orders now

Going on one year late
Yeah, that's right. But they're supposed to ship on different timelines. The cryptic note from Accurate Shooter said late December (assuming for the early (first 1000) orders). I'm wondering if he's already pushed that back to "early 2025" (which goes from Jan-May). Late orders after #1000 would be even after that.

Another guy and I tracked order numbers 10 months back. The debate was whether he would even get to 1000. He did, but it took several weeks. If you ordered before mid-January, you are most likely the first 1000, but I don't recall exactly.

Then there's the question of shipping rates (units per day shipped, once/if it ever commences). Paul has stated he expects 50 per day. Even if he can do that, it will take a month to ship the first 1000 units.

So, don't hold your breath, kids

Yep.

No owner of any company owes anyone any communication at all. Don’t like it? Spend your money elsewhere.
💯 % true (most cases), but you are also free to bitch about things too. Not sure why you are so bothered that others are choosing that option?
Don't like it, cool story bro, but you are doing EXACTLY what you are advocating against...... carry on 👍
