Krg 10/22 bravo

I'm not familiar with KRG stuff or Rem700 either but do you suppose the buttpad they sell would be a correct fit for this 10/22 stock? Between the 3/4 spacer it comes with and what looks like 3/4-1" for the buttpad it'd be a good LOP.
I dug deeper and found this. I believe they mis-typed the spacers at 5/8 and should have been 3/8"

The Summit receivers are even higher in the rear also. Curious on how the non-KIDD rear hold down works they said would be in it.
I know they said they wanted to do a rear hold down for non-kidd receivers, but I don't see any mention of it on the product page. I'm not sure it made it in. @Massoud any updates on anchoring the back of non-kidd receivers in the 10/22 Bravo?
Hey guys, thank you all for your business! These have been popular. This is the first version that is a "general" version that is meant to fit most actions. We plan to do one or a few brand specific versions but we wanted to get these out there as most people have a standard style action. We are working on a rear hold down for non-Kidd receivers, of course due to every action being slightly different we have to get creative so it's a process. They are coming though! Thank you again,

Also, adding the .750" (3/4") spacer brings it back to the standard Bravo LOP (without recoil pad). The thick KRG recoil pad is about an inch thick so between the 3/8" spacers, the 3/4" spacers, and the thick recoil pad you should be able to get long LOP's if you want it.

Do you have a rough idea on when the tool-less LOP kit will be ready?
Mine showed up today. I like it! No surprise though since my T1X has been wearing one for a while now. I will get pictures soon.
And for those that haven't ordered yet..... Make sure to order a QD cup for the rear as it doesn't come with one like most of KRG's other stocks.

I thought a .920 barrel was the bull barrel. I've never looked but is there a larger diameter that is considered "bull" on a 10/22? I've been messing with these for 20+ years and don't remember bigger on the shelf.

- Full length aluminum backbone from the action to the tip of the forend
- Accepts the Whiskey-3 gen 3+ Spigot Mount, but current Spigot mounts will not fit the 10/22 with a bull barrel.
- Will accept barrel contours up to .920" in diameter.

Got mine today, looks and feels good. Though I'm having some clearance issues with barrel not free floating that may be related to the TG2000 trigger I'm using, working with KRG to debug the issue.
There is a note in the specs that the Kidd receiver needs an additional rear tang screw ordered separately under fasteners (for $1.00).
With me being a lefty, is there the ability to swap the knob to the cheekrest to the other side ?
My Bravo 10/22 came this afternoon also. Very excited to go shoot. I added shot of the rear tang with the bolt to lock down a Kidd receiver. This was something I was wondering about. It isn't anything like the Victor Titan. It is very simple, a screw attaches the cup to the rear tang where the second action screw would be on a R700. It comes with a short bolt installed if you don't need it (so the tang looks like a Bravo R700 without the Kidd extension).
As a note KRG took a support call after hours for a fitment issue that ended up being user error. Great service.

Nobody cares about 13% of the population. I had Ruger's Competition Model 10-22 for a while and it had a knob like the KRG. I really didn't notice it bothering me. It looks like it'll be back behind us far enough where it shouldn't be a problem. Like my Mom used to say, "anybody can do it Right Handed"

There isn't a hole drilled on the left side for the thumbscrew. But using it off hand with my normal cheek weld height I don't notice it. Your mileage may vary.
If you don't mind me asking, what fitment issue did you run into on your stock ? I have a grey Krg Bravo arriving Monday, my build is all KIDD classic with the rear tang. Thanks for any information ! Jay
Can people post photos of how the barrel fits for clearance of a .920 bull barrel. It states a .920 barrel is GTG but not a bull barrel which I've always known (in 10/22 world) as a .920.
It's got about 1/16 inch of clearance with a .920 barrel. The product page says their existing spigot mount won't work with a bull barrel, not the chassis itself. They explicitly state that the chassis supports barrels up to .920 in diameter.
Mine was supposed to have been delivered on Thursday. Then they said by the end of the day today. Now the tracking date says no date determined. Not sure if it’s lost.
Yep, same with mine. Fedex tracking shows it going from Idaho to Spokane to Portland, back to Spokane, to Montana, to Minnesota, and I live in Wisconsin. FedEx is the worst
Well it is getting closer at least it’s next door, hope it is not heading for Texas. Mine left for Colorado on Monday and last Wednesday it says it’s in Oregon. That is the last place I get and update. Good luck
A question for Massoud, my BXR action has what looks like a rear anchor point under the hole for a cleaning rod. Will there be a version that uses it in the near future or should I just buy the current model?
Could someone please post photos of the what the rear tang looks like from above/behind for a standard receiver? I have an old rifle with a somewhat unsightly hole drilled in the back. Obviously it's going to be exposed, just wondering if there's a creative way to maybe set a block or plug in the tang to cover it? Or if I'll need to get the thing in a mill to clean up the hole and then turn a plug for the receiver itself to seal it up. Actually having written this maybe the best option is to just install a Kidd rear tang assuming it will work with the cleaning hole I've got now.

Just got mine in and put it together and the barrel was contacting the forend. Took it apart too see if I messed up how the spacer goes (it fell out off the groove when I was putting the action in) and flipped the removable spacer upside down. Now it clears fine, but I’m not sure that’s how it’s supposed to be. It seems like it’s sitting up out of the chassis too far. do you guys have it thick side up or thick side down?
The short side of each plate is supposed to face each other. Together, they clamp the action to the aluminum chassis
you can install the Kidd rear tang with the cleaning hole. However, you will need to have it machined to except the anchor. I had my factory Ruger receiver machined for the anchor. I think the anchor might need to be fitted so the receiver fits level in the stock. I believe that i will have to sand the anchor down some. My stock seems to be lost in the mail. It was supposed to be here by last Thursday. The tracking stopped last Wednesday in Oregon. No other update since then.
For those that are having problems with their .920 bull barrels contacting the chassis at the tip, what brand receiver are you using? If you are using a Ruger, is it possible that the receiver hole is not perfectly square to the receiver? I know that there are a lot of Ruger receivers out there that have canted barrel holes.
One way to check for a canted hole. Take your stripped receiver with the barrel attached to it and lay it sideways on a very flat surface. While holding the receiver flat on the surface, measure the distance between the end of the barrel and the surface. Flip the receiver over to the other side and repeat. The two measurements should be the same. If not, you have a canted barrel hole in the receiver.

Mine is impacting the chassis at exactly 6 o’clock. It‘s well centered in the barrel channel, left to right.

Was the barrel a tight fight when installing it into the receiver? Did you use the standard v-block for attachment? Is it possible that there is barrel droop? This can be caused by a slightly loose fitting barrel and the v-block pulling down on the barrel.
Brand new tac sol barrel (tightly fitted), and a new Kidd v-block. I have an email into KRG now
My factory receiver with the Kidd rear tang fit without any modification. The Kidd .920 barrel is free floated. What is the bag with the four plates and nuts for ???
