I have only fallen in love three times.

Today was one of those times. I picked up my LaRue OBR 20" 7.62 from my local FFL the week after Thanksgiving. It took quite a while to shop around for the right optic, so I took my time on it. Ended up going Bushnell HDMR Horus.

While I knew the construction, the attention to detail was impressive, right down to the fact I'd never seen a hand-polished boltface before, I expected just a solid, good rifle. How wrong I was. It's damn near perfect.

I own a sub-MOA semi-auto. It's got a perfect break, the trigger and action, all of it's perfectly balanced. I've been shooting since I was 12, learned the fundamentals in the boy scouts, and I can say I've never gotten such a well-tuned rifle from the factory. I've owned ARs, bolt guns, all kinds. Amazing.

Fishtix: How do you like the Larue Grip. Got one, but not sure I like the sharp ridge on the back.

I think there is something wrong with your rifle.
The brass is coming out bent. maybe your chamber is bent.

It's not bent, it just has a slight curve built into it.

Sweet rifle. I have the 16 inch version with a NFC. The only problem is the longest range around here only goes out to 340 yards... Good luck with it.
