Does anyone have any experience with this particular model.? Can't seem to find any information on the reticle if it's MOA or MilRad based. And is the illumination truly daylight bright on the dot.

I prefer the larger objective which promises a sweet eye box all the way around.

Looking for this particular one to float around from my hog gun in 6.8 SPC to a 6.5 Creed steel gun. SFP, 100y fixed parallax.

I have that model, but with the BDC. I think the reticle that Eurooptic is depicting is not correct. To my knowledge the Magnus Ballistic reticle does not have a tree. The reticle on my 1.5-10 looks like this one: https://www.eurooptic.com/53174-Leica-LEICA-MAGNUS-18-12x50-i-L-Ballistic-BDC--MPN-531.aspx

The reticle is Mil based.

The dot brightness on mine is pretty good, but it does wash out in the bightest light, like pointing it at the sky on a bright day. It is not as bright as something like a Vortex Razor 1-6 or 1-10.

I like the scope a lot. If you are going to use a one piece mount, definitely check to make sure there is enough tube there to mount it. Mine works with the Spuhr hunting mount, but not their standard mounts. I have another Magnus where the rubber has come unglued and tends to slip when changing power.

Honestly you touched on the one thing that I focused on as a weak point in the scope design. The magnification ring itself should be all metal with a "fin" on it .
