Look @ the job DPMS did on my .30 remington ar

What are your feelings about POF and Rock River? I am not looking for fancy ... just looking for reliable.

To paraphrase Forrest Gump. POF's are like a box of chocolates, you never know hat your going to get. Some are very problematic some are great. I was fortunate that both my POF's the 415 and P-P308 run flawlessly and both are sub moa. On there other hand my friends POF P-308 was a disaster FTExtract and Eject and FTF. Had to go back 3X before it was fixed. He promptly sold it. As far as Rock River I have had 2 of their carbines the CAR Elite with a Troy quad rail and the Elite Comp and have been flawless, great NM triggers and both shoot well under 1 moa.

I know this thread is old but I can't sit still and not let people know about my situation. I have a R15 remington in 30 AR and needed an extra bolt for my rifle as I have an extra bolt for all my AR's in case of a ejector/extractor failure during a hunting trip or hunting rifle bench rest. I call Remington to order one and after ten or so minutes on hold I was told they had no parts and I had to contact DPMS. To my amazement DPMS told me I could not receive a bolt from them only in cases of warranty/repair of the rifle. I found this to be unacceptable and will be replacing the barrel/BCG with a user friendly caliber. I would not have ever purchased this rifle had I known this. If they are so worried by user end bolt changes this worries me of the over all safety/function of this configuration. Also had case swipe issues with factory ammo out of the box. This can be remedied with hand loads with specific powders. I understand the feed ramp positioning but some polishing after the die grinder work could have went along way in the cosmetic complaints that followed. This is an excellent round that was rushed to manufacture that some CNC work on the barrel extension would have avoided problems in the feed ramp.
