A search into the world of high end scopes led me here. I've purchased several Leupold scopes in the past but am curious about other higher end manufacturers. This forum looks loaded with info. I'm excited to start looking through the forum's knowledge and experience to guide my next purchase.

Might want to quote a price range that you are considering and expected use.
I'm lusting for a VOR Valdada MX-7 Recon Tactical Rifle Scope 40mm Tube 4-28x 50mm. When I get an extra $3000 I will get one. Schott glass throughout. As good as any great scope out there.

Kahles, high end Steiner have good reputation. If price is not a issue, Zeiss Hensoldt or Zeiss Victory 8 series.

@easyrdr - I don't want to limit myself on price, although it is obviously a huge factor. I plan on moving the scope from rifle to rifle and thus am looking for a jack-of-all trades. As a starting point my wish list is:
- relatively small and lightweight
- 4-24x maginifaction range or somewhere thereabouts
- parallax adjustment down to 25 yards
- MOA reticle preferred
- I'm open to a variety of reticle designs

Here is a review of high end scopes from YouTube that I found informative. The only brand that is not available in the US is Delta. He quotes prices in pounds UK. Our prices tend to be lower.

It took me awhile, but I finally got my scope. I almost settled on the Delta Stryker HD 4.5-30x56 FFP, but found a March 3-24x42 FFP with illuminated reticle that I think will suit my needs just a bit better. I appreciate all the help and guidance.
