If you like the Kahles scopes you then the K525i would be a nice upgrade, but an incremental one most likely. If you want to try something new get the TT. But most importantly find a reticle you like. I doubt the scopes will disappoint but reticles are largely subjective (and TT reticles don't do it for me unless they've released something new I've missed).

If you have the funds get the TT. Ive had a 624 Kahles, several S&B’s, several NF, Razor Gen 2, and some others I can’t remember at the moment. The Kahles is a Great scope. I’m sure the 5-25 Kahles will be fantastic. The TT is in another league. I had a hard time believing it until I had one. It’s not just the glass. It’s the turrets and attention to detail in everything else. It’s hard to explain but once you finger one you’ll know. I can’t justify the cost difference, but the TT is the best scope out there IMHO at the moment. Do you need it? I don’t know. It’s like picking a Ferrari over a Corvette. The Corvette is more than adequate until you sit in and drive the Ferrari.

Since I gave up racing sports bikes and doing track days and just stick to the dirt bikes, shooting is cheap. I’ll happily save up and drop $3000usd on a scope if I feel I need it or I can justify it, that’s cheap compared to my $50,000aud Ducati’s I used to ride.

Something else to consider would be the Minox ZP5 5-25 with MR4 reticle - Minox glass comes very close to TT according to those who own both, I actually like the reticle a bit better than the SKMR3 because they use dots in the Christmas tree instead of a solid stadia line but you can't go wrong with SKMR/3 or Kahles. Since the K525i is just now making an entrance the jury is still out on just how good it will be; however, given how good the K318i appears to be, the K525i should be even better (it's harder to make a great scope in an Ultra Short package) as it's a tried and true design that Kahles has apparently made better (one of the shortest and lightest 5-25x56 scopes out). Here's a comparison of the reticles (this is the SKMR and not the SKMR3 but in essence the same thing but without the Christmas tree).

You won't go wrong with either scope, the Kahles being the newest and maybe most sought after right now and as I mentioned before the shortest and lightest, the Minox ZP5 with MR4 is also pretty light with proven optics, and the TT with Gen II XR reticle is pretty much the pinnacle, but at $4600+ that is a LOT of coin to spend whereas the Kahles and Minox at $3200 and $3300 respectively are much more within reason (granted these are MSRP's and if you talk to the Hide vendors you should be able to get a nice discount off those prices)
