Mausingfield and Nucleus barrel compatibility

Are the m5 (m5c1-tsx-0380 and later) mausingfield, m7 mausingfield, and nucleus actions manufactured such that a barrel cut for one will headspace closely enough on the other as to be compatible?

I have seen a few folks comment on this over the last year or so but can’t seem to find those comments now. My recollection is that the aforementioned are all compatible.

I’ve got a nuke with a few barrels and I’m considering a mausingfield (either m5 LRI Hunter or M7). it makes it easier to sell myself on the idea if ive already got barrels to screw on. Thanks in advance to any advice, especially if you’ve got personal experience with it.

If I'm not mistaken, they are threaded the same but dont headspace perfectly.

Check headspace. They're all very close but it may be that a barrel headspaces on one but not the other. When using the Barloc they're almost certainly interchangeable because you get .005-.010" of wiggle room on headspace with it.

My M5 and my Nucleus headspace the same but I can't speak for everyone's.

I can't speak for anyone else, but I have 4 M5s and a Nuke and they all headspace the same. Didn't get to check the Arch before I sent it off to be upgraded. If you use a barrel nut or barloc then they obviously will work on any of them.

I’m running mausingfield m5 barrels on my nuke, they seem to work just fine.
