I’m currently working up a hunting load for the wife using a supply of Remington 165gr PSPCL in .308. (#23595). Does anyone know what a ballpark minimum expansion velocity these have? Requests to Remington have gone unanswered. (Surprise). My guess would be about 1800fps or so, but I have no direct experience with this bullet on game. They are very accurate from her gun, and I have a generous supply of them. It’s your typical bulk jacketed, soft point spitzer.
