Nah, they're too busy trawling Nogales for the party favors they already lost. Happy, happy times.

The same ATF that conducted the Fast and Furious operation...?

Stolen? I think they mean 'given to Mexican drug runners' (a.k.a. F&F part II).

Time will tell but it's hard to believe anything we're told when the ATF is involved...

More likely sold to Mexican drugs runners. It last this time when another border patrol or law enforcement offers are killed with one of those gun they will trace back to the military and not a gun store.

What they were doing in a warehouse instead of a locked and guarded armory is beyond me.
I suggest ATF get word out and monitor for anybody trying to buy quantities of the unique ammo for them in the Western region. That 5.45 isn't very common, is it?

Lots of semi autos an a few fulls running in just Alabama alone. Lots of that ammo sold around here.
My worst fear is they show up at a Mall, Wal-Mart, or some other sheep filled place, by folks that know how to properly use them.
Then again, before you can even start to justify changing things more, you need an "Event" the sheep can point to, an lock step with.

Spam cans contain 1,080 rounds, and it's really quite common to find it in both retail and wholesale settings. Heck, you can even find it here on the Hide:

Pinpointing sales of AK74 5.45x39 magazines might be easier, but they're pretty common as well these days.

It will be interesting to see where these turn up. If they arrested some warehouse personel then they are gonna find out something. ATF, CID, and FBI all would be involved.
I still don't understand why they wern't in a armory.
I expect that there will be somebody (else) doing a inventory of that place.
But it could have been worse, it's not like somebody would accidentally load Nuclear tipped cruise missiles n B-52's and leave them unguarded, and unaccounted for. That kinda thing would never happen.
