Reminds me of a construction boss. Some guy would come looking for work and he would pull out his hammer
flip it 360 in the air and say “can you do this”? Usually the guy would say yes and he would respond “Sorry we don’t need anymore people standing around doing that”

I would take the EE mod position. But only for the EE.
My rules would be simple.
1) Don't be a whiny bitch because I don't care.
2) The more times you report the exact same person, the less I will care.
3) If both of you agree to needing moderation, I will hear both sides, and then ban one of you at the end of it.
4) I will post all of your ridiculous emails and messages to me, in The Bear Pit.

I would just perma-ban anyone who reported anything. They can then go to ARF.com and settle their differences.
Hey, what if we made ARF.com the proverbial 'cage fight'. Whomever makes it out without getting banned at ARF gets banned here.
Where they would fit right in. I've never seen a bigger collection of junior g men sucking up to the mods, reporting Dupe threads or accusing any new member of being a possible retread, like it's their business.
They remind me of the college boarding house boys in The Graduate.

3) Claiming to be an expert on a subject, but not actually being a recognized expert.

I wouldn't ban anyone for this, but rather I would try to rally all the other mods and members to ridicule people for doing what I'm about to say. When people talk about how they don't care about something and they say they could care less instead of couldn't care less like it's suppose to be, that deserves public shaming.

Silencers are called suppressors, not cans! I can deal with magazines being called clips, but the can thing almost gives me a case of testicular torsion!
