We'll if it goes like most other sites, once the snow flakes get people banned then the hide will end up being a anti 2A site. They have done it to others and people seem to allow it.

It has nothing to do with "snowflakes" and more to do with the members of this forum are and have always been more diverse than most people imagine.
It has more to do with respecting the members here that have jobs with entities that monitor them constantly and issue full scope polygraphs every quarter.
It has more to do with respecting the members here that are assigned OCONUS stations in which the host country monitors all their communications.
It has more to do with understanding that there are members here of every Religion even Islam...some of those are embedded in countries that most on this forum have never been to and/or prefer not to go back to. Doing things for USA Government that go unspoken and unrecognized.
It has more to do with realizing that there are members here of every Race...some of those in very high level R&D Commands of the USA and International Military.

Why would we want to be the cause of any one of those members getting called to the carpet per say because of a thread here that they posted in BEFORE it turned vial?
Why would we want to be the cause of any one of those members NOT sharing their shooting experiences with us because they felt like the vocal minority spoke for the entire forum in regards to their race and/or religious beliefs?

I have question about the monitoring. Is it strictly .gov computers being watched? Or is it any and all social media accounts being watched 24/7 on private devices as well?

All this shit reminds me of something that happened long ago in Ham radio. We had a very good net that met at 1700 est 7 days a week. Membership was about 150 then progressed to 800 over 5 years. Then the complaints about start time started, to close to supper, I'm not home from work yet, all petty b/S by fucking jackoffs that wanted it all their way. Yes they got their way I'm happy to say, but the net no longer is held. What was the draw walked, an the asshole factor went like barf15. Fuck yeah, but anything goes, true freedom of speech. No physical threats but can say whatever you want, about anyone you want. That would be great. And the fee would help the site. I think it’s a great idea!
Also I bet it would generate a shit ton of revenue because it’s human nature to be nosey. The snowflakes would join because it would drive them nuts not knowing what was going on in there.

First off...I like many are monitored on my WORK computer and if your that freaking stupid to open yourself to that then you have more serious issues. I didn't join the LE group because transparency and community policing is what will bring back respect. Unless I have missed some off the wall posts I have never seen anything that would offend me but then again, I have been spit on, shot at, almost stabbed (that fucker did pay for that one....life in prison and a broken arm) so maybe my sense of being offended is out of scope?
