As much as the world and the eco-warriors bitch about DU rounds there is one indisputable fact, if our armor gets the first shot with one, there is no return fire. How many soldiers are alive today because of that.

I do radioactive waste for a living. I dealt with the aftermath of the friendly fire hits in Desert Storm and I've done cleanup work at APG. Combine state of the art targeting and a round that disregards armor and there is no bottom of the inning, and we bat first.

ive been doing martial arts on and off for years......90% of them are bullshit.

the only ones that are actually worth a damn are Krav Maga and MMA......they are simple and common sense....frankly if you learn to throw a decent punch, a solid knee, and know what it feel like to receive a solid punch and a good knee....you are going to be FAR better off than any "black belt" in any of the traditional martial arts.

ive straight up walked out of Jujitsu classes when the instructor couldnt throw me.....and his reasoning was "well youre resisting and not letting me throw you".....no shit.

i practice Krav for hand to hand combatives.....and Defensive rifle and defensive pistol as my weapon combative.
Stylized martial arts really are bullshit. I learned that when I competed as a kid in the late 80's. It didn't matter the style, when the punches start flying it all looks the same.

Some of the most basic principles and techniques of BJJ are definitely useful. It helps to know you don't have to freak out should you find yourself on your back. The problem with BJJ, is that you get USED to being on your back. That will get you killed.

Yea, it's all bullshit till some real deal, BAMF busts out the Phoenix Eye, punches through someone's head and accidently knocks down a building!
