Well, I kind of exaggerated my lack of conformity. When my wife caught the rona I was working on base with about 200 people, mostly TDY to the base I work at, so my boss told me I needed to get tested, to make sure I hadn't infected the lab and all the people that flew in for the systems testing...I was Negative, so no harm to to infecting the lab...but I had to quarantine at home for two weeks anyway...damn the bad luck.
Trying to develop a new safety glass program at new work.
The damn masks suck when paired with glasses for certain.
My co-worker that went to India and got a vaccine approved by the WHO has been returned to full duty.
Dont know what he intends to do if they mandate boosters.

What ever happened to the asymptomatic? Aren't they immune to the Chinese flu? If the so-called vaxxed can get it and spread it how are they any different than the asymptomatic? Except that the asymptomatic don't have any of the risks from the jab nor does the Chinese flu have any effect on them.
Natural immunity should also include people exposed to the virus, that didn't get the virus. When my wife had it, none of us quarantined away from her, we live in the same house, breathing the same air, none of us wore a mask...so they can fuck off with all of it.

I get if I really do....for people who want to be petrified and like manufactured drama in their lives this is a GREAT thing and I'm thrilled for them to have something to latch on to. The fact that I don't want to share their same level of perpetual panic is apparently equal to that of being a murderer. People who have their jobs threatened.....that is the real deal. By manufactured I mean vax happy people who insist that I get it to make them feel better. These are people who are still staying home as much as possible, wearing masks in the car alone and basically withdrawing from life.

I've been around a lot of people that had it. I was around them mask-less at the time they were supposedly very contagious. Yet I never got it. I got tested for the anti-bodies a few months ago and it was negative.
I'm not saying that I won't get it. I'm also not saying that if I do get it that I won't die from it.
When looking at the un-skewed and un-tampered statistics, I'd say my chances are better surviving Covid than surviving the shot. The cure is worse than the disease.
I'm getting over my second bout with covid. The first was no more than a mild cold. The second one almost killed me. I lost 25 lbs in 1 week, I was so week, I passed out while on the dialysis machine. I needed a wheelchair to get around. I was in a bad way.
I am now getting my strength back but I'm probably a good month or more before I'm back to normal. I say all this because I have many of the comorbidities that have been the "cause" of death by Covid sufferers. However, I survived. I'm either very lucky or Covid may not be the cause of death in any instances.
I believe that Covid is just a vehicle for other diseases to take one's life.

@DarnYankeeUSMC, I completely agree. We think our job is important...it is, to us. To who ever we work for, not so much, they have a job announcement ready and waiting to be published when we're gone.
Your observation opens the door to some of my thoughts.... Through out history, back to the Garden of Eden, there has been plagues, sickness, leprocy, etc.... During the worst of the worst of times there were no sanitary provisions, no scientist, no billion dollar labs or year long studies.... Yet, some humans were exposed repeatedly and came through the worst of it and civilization continued to grow. Why no study on that ? Probably no $$$ in a healthy world population.

You are correct. There have been many "legends" leave or retire where I worked. They were all unreplaceable. Some were considered a stalwort employee. But neither the worker nor the company skipped a beat when they separated. It's a shame some are losing their jobs, maybe even criminal, but these things are hard to stop unless a lot more people grow a set and that doesn't look like that will happen any time soon.

Every new hire that spent time in the clean rooms (1000 times cleaner than an operating room) would come down with the respiratory crud..... State of the art HEPA filters but not bringing in any outside air, only recirculating air. We learned long ago that a HEPA filter does not filter out a virus.

For myself now and the other folks at my company that would not be vaccinated, after the ruling on the OSHA side, they (company) decided to drop the requirement all together, so that is some good news.
This surprised me since being federal contractors our status was with a different executive order, and even though a judge blocked that as well, I figured they would wait until that was heard at the Supreme court level.
So, nice to have my job, but still kind of have some hard feelings when I had to rely on the states to file the lawsuits against this, and my own company wouldn't help out in that regard.
