My wife is better than yours

I gotta ask. Do you both have separate bank acts and she pulls her weight in the money dept? If not, then it’s really just your money she spent on a credit probably that you will pay for ultimately.

Anyway, I’m not trying to be negative. Enjoy it. Have fun!

Still, I’d work on getting separate bank acts ASAP.
that old trick. one of my buds came to work one day and was all happy and had to show us the new truck “the wife bought him”. so after looking at his truck, i asked him if she got new job? uh, no. so i ask, “her dad die?”. uh, no. then i ask “then where did she get the money to buy you a truck?”. yeah……you know where this is going, dont ya?

twice divorced and was bent over a barrel getting sledgehammered with the saddle the courts put on me..and i STILL had more disposable income than the same guys i worked with who were married. every FUCKING time. fucking sad, really.

i dont pretend to know know the OP’s situation. but i do know what i’ve seen during the course of my life in regards to how marriage shakes out for men. and VERY few times, does the male get a fair shake. before, during, and after. if it wasnt for pussy, we’d hunt them from horseback.

We have 3 accounts. Hers, mine and a joint. She makes $95k/year. Not that I need to justify to you that she can swing a week vacation by herself… pretty comical that you just assume a woman can’t do something like that without using my money 😂

i married two of them that were “not like other women”. the second one, i gave the choice of a really nice ring, or a decent ring and a double barrel shotgun of her choice…and she went for the shotgun combo.

i would have been safer marrying the snake. come back when you hit the 10 year mark and tell me how wrong i was. again, best of luck to ya.
You fell for the soulless ginger with a snake? That's the oldest trick in the book! Literally, oldest...trick...in...the...book...

where did you stay in turks
Stayed in Thompson Cove on Provo. We don’t spend a lot of time inside on these trips so the digs is usually where we cheap out. Just a place to shit, shower and sleep. Up at 6:30 out the door by 7 and then home at 8pm showers and bed. We rented a Jeep, i put 350 miles on it in 7 days on a tiny island. I don’t think we missed a public road. Explored everywhere, it was awesome

I hear ya bud. If you marry one and do the rights things prior to, it's a great partnership and a lifelong one. HOWEVER, don't kid yourself into thinking "you've been through it all and what not". The hardest years of my marriage was when my first child was born, and when my second was born. First being harder by a lot. Some years are great and some years are very tough, the key is BOTH of you being committed to being married to each other, and having a relationship with Jesus Christ. Glad you are confident in your marriage. You should be. Really nice vacation there. 15 years in.

"Marriage is a wonderful institution......................

If you have to be in an institution....
I know life will get harder, but our youth wasn’t an easy journey either. It’s not that we’ve been through it all, but I have faith that when we do go through it all, we will be ok.

I agree. We may sound harsh but just trying to give op some perspective. But yeah hope his works out. I got remarried again and it been 18 years but we don’t have joint money. At the same time your right. I’d still get fucked somehow.

I’m not assuming. I’m just saying that’s how a lot of young marriages are and most dudes don’t care to think about it.

Also, I’m not worried about what a woman can and can’t do. I’m not into chivalry.

But, that’s great that she can do that without it being joint money

You should feel bad now since you only spent 1500$. Cheap skate! J/k

Loyalty is the most important factor in any relationship. If you are both loyal ( which is more than not screwing someone else), you can deal with the rest. It isn't some impossible feat that some make it out to be either, but it's definitely not easy. Glad you are happily married my friend, so many aren't, that's a bad way to go through life.

Hold on, let me get this straight... You and your wife split all financial obligations, correct? You have separate checking/saving accounts and keep independent credit accounts? She has a career and makes money from which she pays 1/2 of the mortgage, her own car payment, her own car insurance, and buys her own clothes and groceries from those funds? Because if not, you gave yourself at least 1/2 of that trip. You just didn't know it beforehand.

We have 3 accounts, hers, mine, and a joint. % goes into our separate accounts and the rest goes to a joint. All of our expenses go on a CC and get paid off monthly with the joint account.

Every dime spent on this trip was 100% my wife’s money, from her personal account except the $220 bucks in cash I brought and spent.

My wife got me a trip to the Turks and Caicos for my 30th birthday. We were there for 7 days and it was an awesome trip. The water and beaches were like pictures you see in magazines and on TV. I’ve never been to a place that I didn’t want to leave so badly in my life.

Meh, Got a BJ this morning.

My wife bought me rifle primers.

You loose.

My wife is the best because she has put up with my shit for 14 years now. All my bad times from deployments. Moving around every 3 years and me buying gun shit ....

Why the separate accounts? Or why did the wife pay for the trip?

Separate accounts: We both have hobbies and things that we want, that we feel shouldn’t be a burden to the other… When I buy gun stuff I use my account, when she buys clothes/shoes/ decorations, she uses her account. It’s a pretty fair way of doing things if you ask me.

She paid for the trip: it was a gift from her to me for my 30th birthday.

Divorce is an important institution- it puts the ladies back in the rotation, while keeping the lawyers employed.

Is the OP still having problems getting those bikini pics uploaded? If so, PM me and I'll try to help.
