ive got a chance to get a killer deal on one of these. I need some input from u guys that have used them or messed with them. Overall impression, glass, tracking, turrets etc....

There are great deals on these on eBay right now. As they have discontinued the 30mm tube version you can pick them up pretty cheap. I just got an 3-18 moa milling ffp for $820 a couple days ago and you can find the sfp even cheaper if your patient. I should have mine in next week and can give you my first impressions if you would like but I figured I couldn't get hurt at that price.

I have the mrad milling sfp 3-18. Got it for 730 new and it was worth every penny. Put it on a 223 cle gas gun and it's great. Turrets are very nice. Glass is very nice. Tracks perfectly and the red dot is daylight visible. Zero stop is great too.

You cannot go wrong with these at these blow out prices. 100% Japanese.

Glass is so subjective but I would say It's every bit as good as my Razor gen 1. Very crisp and clear from edge to edge. Shit tons better than the PST it replaced. Tango 6 is a quality piece. I absolutely love the red dot. I have mine in a badger unimount and use it on my 308 gasser for pigs too. At 750 ish it's a steal. PST price range and it's 2.5 x's the scope in my opinion.

Because the Kilo 2000 worked out so well for me, I went and checked out Tango 4 and Tango 6 models at the elite Sig dealer local.

Every one of them they had on display and the ones I asked to check from the back had awful, worthless turrets. The clicks were completely random, like 0.05 mil, then 0.5 mil, then 0.10 mil, then 0.2 mil. The locking turret feature could not be used straight down. In order to lock the turret, you had to push down and then turn 2-5 clicks before it would go down and lock. I could not believe how low quality Sig scopes are. Worse than those $20 chinese ones at gun shows. I thought I'd found a bad one, but it was every model.

If I was Sig, I'd kill off the electro-optics line before it kills the name the Sig name.

I have a Tango 6 FFP and so far it has been great. I actually quite like the clicks, quiet but very tactile. Turrets have been very consistent and precise. That said it is a new line and to Twinsens point above is hard to ensure there aren't bugs with a new line.

I got a great deal on mine so I took a chance and I'm glad I did.

Well I get mine Monday and I'm sure hoping it will be razor gen 1 quality. I really wanted another amg but just couldn't afford it this round. If this scope really is gen 1 quality it will be a steal at the prices people are getting them for!

I do have 1 question are the hasmarks on the reticle in 2 moa increments on the 3-18? This is what the one reticle subtension diagram I have found shows.

I got mine in yesterday and had a little time to mess with it. My initial impressions are extremely positive. I am semi new to precision shooting but I thought it was much closer to my amg in quality than my shv f1 in both turret clicks and glass quality. For the price these are selling for I don't think there is a better scope out there that I know of.

Yes I do. I think so it's a little heavy but everything feels solid! The turrets are much better than my shv f1 not quite as crisp as the amg but very close. I am no glass expert by any means but I thought it was better than the shv again, better than my trijicon accupower as good as my razor lh and zeiss hd5 just slightly below the amg. I did not get to try it in low light though. The only thing I'm not super excited about is the reticle. I especially wish it had 1 moa hashes rather than 2.

I have ran into one issue with mine. The power indicator on the zoom ring was blocking my bolt on a Christensen rogue with seekins high rings so I had to remove it. Luckily this was easily done just two small Allen screws
