New AI rifles...what do you think...will they set a new trend, follow some others???

Just picked up this bad SOB!! Big thanks to Jason from EuroOptics for working with me yet again on getting this bad boy to his new owner. Now to go with a S&B 3-27x56 or the
Hensoldt ZF 3.5-26x56..............................Decisions, Decisions. Still excited as a kid to see what AI has in store next.

Obviously, I knew about the models coming out, but I couldn't turn down the amazing deal on an AE MKIII. I'm excited to see the new models, but I won't be purchasing one anytime soon. I haven't had a chance to shoot the MKIII yet, but I hope I don't regret getting it after seeing what comes out Tuesday. (I don't know if that's possible). Although, if it hadn't been for the new models coming out, I wouldn't have been able to afford the MKIII anyways haha.

I also couldn't resist the awesome deals on the AIAE MKiii's and bought one. Shot it for the first time today and I PROMISE you, there will be NO disappointment!!!

I just got my ax308 from mile high today since those deals just couldn't be passed up. I kinda figured the upgraded ones would be more psr like. I plan on picking up a long action in the new model sometime late this year hopefully. Wonder if the things like quick adjust package will be an additional addon like the former ax which was almost a 1k price difference. Can't wait to see what else is coming and pricing.

The AT is the replacement for the AE. Check the SHLowlight youtube channel. Stuff is going live.

Just seeing the one video that works so far, and another one being posted up for the AX308MC. The comment that the AT was replacing the AX leads me to wonder if the entire product line is being reduced down to just AT and AX platforms.

The AX308 video has a couple minutes about the AT at the end.

On 308MC he said six lug bolt head. My AX 308 now has 3 lugs and bolt head is not changeable.

Bolt head is now changeable.
.540 bolt head in AX308 for short action magnum? 6.5SAUM?
I really didnt want to want to "upgrade". That would probably be worth it if the weight isnt up much.

Nice work AI.

I really want to know where the prices will be on the new models. AI tends to charge a good chunk more for a tricked-out rifle than a base model, so I'm sure there will be some variance with these new models. I'm not a betting man, but I'd throw my guess at about $5K for the AT as shown, and $7.5-8K for the new AX model, as shown.

That would be my guess also.

That's what I'm guessing, too. The new AT looks really awesome, but for the price I just got my AE at, I'm quite satisfied for now. Besides, one day I'll just sell my house and live out of a box to get a PSR.
